Finally got around to seeing this one. Christian Bale does psycho really well. I think he really is... the weight loss is absolutely unreal. No CGI I'm told. Crazy.

Bale plays psychos better than anyone I can think of at the moment. Its widely reported that he's a douche anyways so his characters might not be far off from who he really is

The weightloss was pretty frightening though and he did a good job with the role. Looks like he goes through another physical change in the Mickey Ward movie.

I suppose the only criticism is that you realize he is going crazy about halfway through. So there isn't any real twist. So it's kinda like watching a train wreck. They use some old school creepy music in it and the cinematography is pretty interesting (reminds me of Momento a bit).
