they're recovered somewhat nicely since the third quarter swoon, getting the lead back down to ~3-4 points... but then the large german shows up and pops another three and you're down seven all of a sudden.

if the bulls keep this close and competitive i think dirk's got a solid shot at fiddy.... otherwise he'll end up mid 40s at this rate.

that 3rd quarter was impressive. they go down by 15 or whatever after being up by 13 or whatever.... it was a MASSIVE point swing, but before the quarter ends theyre right back in it.

the bulls defense is already looking top tier.

and the offense looks consistent! for the first time in years you can actually guess what the bulls offensive plays will look like. it starts with drose snaking his way around the top and slicing between guys to the basket. from there its either go up and lay it in, or kick out to deng or boguns for a 3. and it works A LOT. just wait for boozer (option #3!).

tom tibedow is my favorite coach in the nba, no question. the guy is a badass!

Watched the WGN feed. During the last minutes of the 4th quarter Thibs was hilarious. I one sequence, when the Mavs had the ball, Thibs was flailing the right arm, pointing with the left arm, kicking with his left leg and hopping at the same time. He was going nuts. The man is into his work.
