The dunk he made at the end of last night's game was sick.

Take a look at this screen shot at the top of the page in this link. It's the beginning of a video, so it wont let me post it. The 5 OKC guys are just watching him in awe.

they werent watching in awe. they were tired as hell and completely uninterested in the game at that point. rose absolutely demoralized them for 4 quarters and that last dunk was just "hey all, fuck all yall". for OKC that dunk was embarrassing though. i think this was a game where all those years of fighting the whole 48 minutes really helped kirk and deng... they never slowed down the whole game.

Noah is a lock for most improved player, but he is no All-Star yet.

Here is the rest of the All-Stars

Those poor TNT execs. No matter how much careful planning goes into it, and all the hype that’s built up, the Internet always manages to somehow undercut them.

You could watch the broadcast tonight to find out who will be coming off the bench in the All-Star game next month, or you could be smart, and simply continue reading the remainder of this post.

Here are the names, via Yahoo!:

Point guards Deron Williams of Utah, Chicago’s Derrick Rose and Boston’s Rajon Rondo will make their All-Star Game debuts next month in Dallas, sources said Thursday.

Besides Rondo and Rose, the East roster includes Boston’s Paul Pierce, Toronto’s Chris Bosh, Charlotte’s Gerald Wallace and Atlanta’s Joe Johnson and Al Horford.

The West includes the New Orleans’ Chris Paul, the Lakers’ Pau Gasol, Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant, Dallas’ Dirk Nowitzki, Memphis’ Zach Randolph and Portland’s Brandon Roy.

Apologies to David Lee, Chris Kaman, Josh Smith, Andrew Bynum and Chauncey Billups. Maybe next year. Or, who knows, someone may get injured between now and Feb.14.

I actually said that I would take Noah over Rose, only because Rose was going to be in the Rookie-Soph game as well as Skills competition, but I'm still happy with Rose making all star...

Amazing considering the last choice likely came down to two Florida teammates - Horford and Noah.

Even though I personally thought Joakim Noah was more deserving of a trip to Arlington, TX, site of this year's NBA All-Star Game next month, Derrick Rose has really stepped up his game big time. I'm really proud of Derrick, and needless to say, this is only the beginning. The folks at the new Cowboys Stadium are in for a treat.

Andrew Bogut deserved to go as much as Noah did. Noah is no lock for the AS game next season with Dwight, and an also improving Bogut and Horford. He has a chance, but I wouldnt say he was snubbed this year. Rose deserved it. Im also happy for Rondo and Deron to get in, as they both deserved one too.

The maturation of Rose is going on, the next step is how physically and mentally tough he is, because now teams are going to be FOULING him and HARD!!!!! Last night against the Thunder, Bulls starters shot 1 fucking free throw. When the Bulls play good teams and are in the playoffs Rose is going to be beat on ,and how he reacts is going to be his next step .If he meets that challenge and moves forward, than that special.Right now he is progressing faster than I thought! Who knows he might get better at defense?

PS Vinny is coaching better?

Button 48 alert: I've watched Rose since he was a Freshman and covered him during his Senior year at Simeon, and I could tell then he would be an NBA superstar. I was literally jumping for joy the day the Bulls won the Lottery. I called a buddy and he asked why I was so excited to draft Beasley. I laughed my ass off and told him it was Rose I was excited about. He being a Knicks fan just assumed the Bulls would fuck it up.

Rose really is must see TV, and he still has such a long, bright future ahead of him. I'm anxious to see how his game continues to progress.

Not sure if he is top 5 yet, but he is definitely in the conversation. He has been great this year and looks to have a HUGE ceiling.

He is hands-down my favorite player in any sport. And that includes my mancrush on Tom Brady.

I will not make the same mistake with Rose of never watching Jordan play live.

i said this last year and got ripped for it but I'll say again with an apology to Pip.

D Rose is the 2nd best Bull ever already.

I dont think there is a doubt.

When you say I'm wrong, try to have a reason in your response.

Pippen was the man for two years in his whole career. when he did have the chance he couldnt handle it. I love Scottie and I saw all the things he did on the court but he was never as important to a team as Rose is now and will always be. Pippen ran the offense but rarely was the guy who could make a shot at the end of a game or shot clock. Rose is now and will only get better. There's no way you can say after three years Pippen is anywhere near Rose is now.

Rose is as quick as Iverson but stronger. Stronger than IsiahThomas and a better shooter. His passing is getting better and his shooting will only get better. Rose is the shit and will be for a long time.
