Got to the NU game and my Buzz was on! Little Smokey, Little Drinky

Guys next to us.

Guy 1 "Hey man, havn't seen you in a long time, how are you, how is your dad"
Guy 2 'I am doing good, my dad isn't doing so well"
Guy 1 'What's wrong"
Guy 2 "He's dead"

I tried to withhold, but busted out laughing

I would have laughed as well. The laugh wouldn't have been about the dead guy,but instead the setup. Totally threw him a meatball and had to hit it out of the park. Had it been my dead guy I would expect some chuckles at the whole conversation. Maybe that's the weed talking.

At a dear friends Fathers wake, I happened to be at the casket when his son and a co-worker of his dad approached the casket. The co-worker said "Geez Bob looks good" where the son without skipping a beat said. "You should have seen him yesterday he was breathing" I quickly walked outside down the street walked in a corner bar and had a shot and a beer for the deceased and began laughing my ass off

I must admit, I didn't expect this thread for another 12-18 months.

From the creators of "Overheard in New York" and "Overheard in the Office" comes "Overheard in Wrigleyville".
