Love the show, but last night was a pretty bad episode. Very boring and considering next week is the finale I expected a lot more manuvering to set up the last episode.

Boring?

-Van Alden drowns the other federal agent
-Nucky fires his brother, and names a new sheriff
-Margaret leaves Nucky after she realizes she is just one in a stable of hoes
-Jimmy's wife was about to bail to Paris with her lesbian lover, but had to return with tail between legs after being ditched at the dock
-Jimmy's father, the Commodore is being poisoned
-Rothstein is facing heat for fixing the World Series

Should be a good season finale.

There's something about the Van Alden character I don't like. It's not who he is but rather the way he is written. It just doesn't feel right. Too stereotypical maybe? Any screen time with him feels awkward.

I feel the same way. I was almost hoping he goes to jail for murdering the agent or
just takes off and they bring in a new guy next season.

This has been a pretty good show and I look forward to it returning, although that may
be a while. I was really hoping that the Van Alden character was going to leave the
show but now that he knocked that chick up, I have a feeling that is the sign he was
looking for to stick around. Will be interested to see how they try to get rid of Nucky
next season. Just another really solid series by HBO. Was disappointed to see that
Game of Thrones was not coming out until April now. I was hoping they would start
that in January.

I was a little disappointed with the finale. It seemed like with all of the buildup from the last couple episodes, there really wasn't much of a payoff.

I like the show, but they seemed to get away from the nudity angle the last few weeks, which is disapointing.

If "Thrones" isn't out until April, I will be cancelling HBO to save the $14 for a while. In fact, with "on-demand", maybe I'll just wait until Thrones is almost over and do a marathon weekend to catch up.

Pretty weak finale. I want to like this show but sometimes the performances by some of the actors lack emotion and depth. Then they don't explain how Van Alden got away with murder in front of a crowd of people. I suppose I will still watch next season. Nothing much else entertaining on.

It was in front of a crowd of black people. First of all, they probably wouldn't report him, second of all, nobody would probably believe them.

Been seeing a lot of promos, back in mid-September.
