right now tune into 720 AM , they are replaying Kerry Wood's 20 K game in 1998

also tomorrow Zambrano's no-hitter

wow, Santo sounds so stable in 1998...his instability and crybabiness the past couple years wore even on a big fan like me

nice to hear him be somewhat of an analyst...amazing how, once u get caught up in his craziness, u lose sight of how he was 10-15 years ago

I doubt anyone here has the express, written consent of the Chicago Cubs, let alone Major League Baseball.

i could have dumped it to mp3 if i had known... however, i called my uncle to let him know and he's like "oh yeah, that started at 1" so too little too late.

i'll always remember zambrano's no hitter because i was out in queens (walking distance from laguardia) having just marinated in the unrelenting september sun in the bleachers of yankee stadium (tho we did see david price's MLB debut... and the rays fought back enough to where we got to see rivera enter in a save situation with enter sandman and all that. nice) and we get back and they're showing the whitesox sunday night game which is post-flood-status (my basement flooded. thank god all of the vinyl was above ground) and then they mention that zambrano has a no-hitter going in the hurricane makeup game up in milwaukee and my uncle's like "jimmy, you know if we weren't out here we'd be up there right now" but he thought there's no way in hell that zambrano would pull out the no hitter. eventually ESPN switched to the chi/hou feed...

i knew he would. he did. it went well with the cheap beer and utz potato chips in the hotel room, that's for sure.

shocked at the number of good baseball points Santo made during the 20 K game. I never remembered him being that with it.

For all the talk about Santo, that one is probably his most recognizable broadcast moment.

It's my personal favorite
