Actually I think I am. I don't know of anything coming up Friday...I may just leave for there right after work.

How do remotes work? Does the "party" break up immediately after the show is over or do things continue afterhours?

i'll be there around 2:45 and stay until around 8....that's all i can handle...after that i start to enter the danger zone.

gd, usually a group of us will stay after the show. Usually Harry sticks around after the show and hit the tequila bottle. Sometimes Jurko will press the flesh a few minutes after. Mac tries to get out of there about ten minutes after.

I would have thought the exact opposite to be true.

There is an outside shot I will go. I'll see what kind of mood life has put me in by Friday and how traffic is going when I decide to either take a right or left at the Kennedy split.

Mac mingles quite a bit with listeners during breaks and through out the show. I'm sure his thinking is that its a Friday night and values that time to be with his wife and/or children.

Grid, is there parking around the area? on the street or anything? just want to know if i need to carry quarters with me.

All you guys are full of shit . I always see this thread about remotes where guys on this board swear there coming out and low and behold there is like 3 guys who show up .


The last time AT BW 3'S Ryan and Grid and Mitchcumstein and Hawkeye were the only guys to show and I want to say there were about 10 who said they would be there .

I know Doug gets out there and Grid is staple and WR but where are the rest of you?? Shoeless is a central meeting place for all.I know guys like OPV , Golfboy , Grid and Linda S. will be there.

BTW , I can't make it .

Things do come up Ed. And actually, I just found out I have a meeting until 5:30p. If I get out early, I'll consider driving up there, but if not it just isn't worth the haul. Sorry guys. I would offer an alternative, but there isn't anything listed on the website outside of Ditka's - and I'm not paying for food at a good restaurant that the two boobs broadcasting there will cause me to lose.

I'm just ball busting Scholar....But I do always see posts from guys that say they are going and then later on I read all the reasons why they couldn't make it .

It will be nuts at Shoeless this Friday and with MJH there and all the BEARS hype, it's going to a free for all in that place. I expect to hear a rowdy crowd at the joint.

The Woodridge remote was crazy and loud, very rowdy but Friday will be special .
