Last quarter of the season! I think they are going to lose...badly even if it's not reflected in the score. Hope I'm wrong. Can this be the game where we finally see what they are? I think so and I want it to be good! GO BEARS!!!

Not looking forward to freezing my dick off going to this game. If it's as bad as they say, it will becomes more focused on defense, running the ball and short passes. The Bears have the advantage in 2 of the 3.

That said, it's Tom Brady.

This game could definitely go either way and something crazy is going to
happen and decide the game. I still think the field is an advantage for the
Bears and the defense will play tough. All about who can run the ball more
effectively.

I'll be the quiet guy in the upper bowl freezning my ass off next to a bunch of meatheads.

If the Bears establish the run early on, they win the game. However, I think Martz blows his load at the chance to upstage Belichick, because you KNOW Mikey is still hurting from the 2001 Super Bowl.

Brady will take what the Bears D offers and won't throw a pass more than 10 yards all day.

Sloppy game, sloppy field, lots of turnovers, bad punts, and a few missed FGs. Bears get a key turnover late that leads to a TD and seals the deal.

AccuWeather, which is the service used by the Bears' Radio Network flagship WBBM Newsradio 780, is predicting anywhere from 1-4 inches of snow this weekend. That's not the story as much as the strong gusty winds & dropping temperatures are. You know CBS Sports' #1 team of Jim Nantz & Phil Simms will mention the idiotic "Bear Weather" term during their broadcast.

That being said, the Patriots/Bears' game Sunday becomes a lower scoring, defensive taffy pull. As much as I'd love to see the Bear offense run the football, control time of possession and the defense constantly pressuring Tom Brady & the Patriot offense, I can't do it. I think New England somehow finds a way to leave the Lakefront with a 17-14 road win. I hope I'm wrong, but it's awfully hard not picking the Pats right now...

Lovie must have one very large anal cavity because he has already pulled another horseshoe out of his ass. Brandon Spikes is out as he has been suspended for violating the league's performance enhancing substance policy. He is not appealing the suspension and therefore will not be facing the Bears this Sunday.

While the Pats and Bears both have played in snow and cold, I think 45-50 MPH winds is a different animal. Neither are used to that. They both have to play in it, but I think the wind is to the Bears advantage since they are a top 3 run defense and also since Brady's greatness is hurt more by the wind than Cutler's. Cutler can run and will pick up a couple of key first downs doing so. Forte will be good enough. Our special teams and defense is better than theirs. That's the differnce in a game like this. That being said, a lot of crazy and wild stuff can happen in conditions like this and you don't know in which teams favor that ball will bounce or blow. But assuming the breaks in this game are even...

you know, as the season has wore on i have grown to realize that i really don't dislike lovie smith all that much. sure, the condescending nature of his soundbites and his perceived arrogance with the media/fans isn't the most appealing thing in the world, but in the end i think he's managed to do a good job with the "talent" he's been given to work with.

the offensive line sucks. quite honestly, going into this game especially with STORMWATCH 2010!!!@$##@!$@!# (the pussification of america has reached people changing their weekend plans because of, GASP, WIND AND 3-4" INCHES OF SNOW! yesterday bernstein said that anyone who goes to the game tomorrow is an idiot, but then again he's likely doing a bit to try and get some idiot callers to lampoon.

AHEM. the offensive line sucks and if it's somewhat sloppy weather i'd feel a lot better if i knew that the bears could run the ball. most of the running game's success has come from matt forte hitting a hole making a cut and BOOM, thus inflating his average up from the usual two-yards-and-down. forte isn't as good at laying back for a second to follow offensive linemen as is chester taylor, however, when chester does that often times he's knocked around for a short game at best. the offensive line has done a good enough job protecting cutler to help them get to 9-3, obviously, but i don't trust their running game whatsoever. i was overjoyed when martz was passing the ball during clock-kill-time.

the wide receivers suck. yeah knox is a nice #3 or maybe even #2 if you have a megatron-type-beast, but the bears don't have a "go and get the damn ball" receiver, even though earl bennett seems to want to be the guy on this team. devin tantalizes you with his raw ability, but he isn't a great receiver. the other devin is probably going to look to catch on with another team next year.

and even though they haven't been a gaping issue this year, i'm not a giant fan of the bears secondary. let's say the game is on the line and someone needs to complete a pass on peanut or jennings or bowman or manning i think more often than not that pass can get completed. the bears D plays really good as a unit, but just imagine if they had anything resembling a shutdown corner... i mean your #1 cornerback's top trait is being able to strip balls....after the catch

WITH ALL OF THAT, the bears are 9-3. lovie and his college of ex-head-coaches had a fire under their feet and after some clown college shit they came together and turned the bears into a team that, for better or worse, plays to the level of their competition. the only ugly games all season were the giants game (which wasn't out of hand until the 4th quarter) and the redskins game, which they should have won.

i'd still love for jerry angelo to step down and someone who isn't tim ruskell take over teh GM duties, but i wouldn't be horribly against this coaching staff going into next year... i'd just like to give them more talent on the field to work with.

the patriots are the patriots... their record is always immaterial, they're going to be a bitch when you have them on the schedule. they're going to give the bears a game, it's going to be close, and you know what? [b] i have an odd feeling in my stomach that the bears are going to pull this one out. i think the D is going to force a turnover or two (sack/fumble on brady) and the offense will capitalize... and somehow, some way, the bears are going to win this game, get our hopes sky high, and then lose a clunker to the jets or vikings, setting up a potential win-and-you're-in/lose-and-you're-out with the packers, and that game i won't be able to pick.

i could see the bears losing this game, so i don't think they will.

let's go...

BELOVED 27
PATSIES 17

and hey patriots since it's a national game and it's the bears and you want payback, wear the 85 throwback red unis plz? that'll make the victory that much sweeter =D

Brady gets injured when he trips over the bad field after celebrating a TD pass on their first drive of the game. Bears win 23-7.

Bears win thanks to a stout defensive and Cutler plays his ass off tomorrow with a rushing TD of his own. Fuck Brady and Coach Hoodie!

Since I do not sit in the luxury suites I suppose I am one of those idiots bernstein referred to. However I will remain fully clothed throughout the game.

Who knows what will happen? NE a good team but in a let-down week, bad weather, bad field, no pics for Cutler in two games (meaning he is due), NE's second-highest tackler out and a genius versus a grudge-holding mad scientist. It is a crap-shot.
