No, I loved Soul Plane. And don't forget Who's Your Caddy.

I stayed up 'till about 2 am one night watching that. My wife woke up, looked at the TV, then looked back at me with the "Why did I marry this person?" look...

It seems like Scalabrine and Kurt Thomas switch off game to game on who suits up since Boozer has come back. The Bulls should just dump Thomas and have Scalabrine suit up every game.

Agreed. I would also be ok if they cut Boozer so that Scalabrine could start.

Didn't Tyler Perry make this movie?

Donald Sterling should hire you for the next Clippers GM.

Serious question...sort of. I don't mind the movies, and find some of them funny and think I get what he is doing. Why is Spike Lee so turned off by his brand of comedy? I think both are just fine for very different reasons. Saw some 60 minutes piece where SLee was not kind in his assessment of these movies.

Some people in the [Jiggs]community[/Jiggs] think he is making money from portraying African-American's in a negative light. Sort of profiting off buffoonery and sterotypes. I think there is some truth there. Some of it is overblown, though. He is a smart businessman and there are 1 or 2 of his movies that I think were pretty well done...

oh dear.

Kurt Thomas is much better than Scalabrine. The Bulls already have one white tall jumpshooter with the defensive ability of a anvil.

Thanks. It is interesting because if some aspect of the viewing public wants that brand of entertainment, why not give it to them? Just based on the revenue, his method of entertainment seems to hit some people's funny bones. What's wrong with that (rhetorical)? Lot's of crap out there. His stuff still sells so let him do it until it no longer makes money.

Omer is playing better than I expected. CoF hatin on my Scal fun again.
For the record, recently Korver is also playing better defense than I expected. When he is out of position, he is way out and ugly. But he is hustling constantly and more times than not he is doing ok things on defense. I have been surprised.

To be fair, the same could be said for Mistrel Shows. Just because something is profitable doesn't neccessarilly mean one should do it. I don't completely agree with Spike Lee and others about Tyler Perry's work. I think some of it is jealousy. But I do agree that some of it can be pretty ridiculous.

Mary Tyler Perry Moore is to comedy what Steve Harvey is to comedy.

And, yes, that makes me racist, sexist, and an anti-dentite.

I thought Tyler Perry created movies based on people/characters he knew, added some kind of message and so so comedy. Not quite the history of the Mistrel Show, but I understand your point.

You can watch those shows anytime, and for the record, tonight's episodes happen to be reruns. I don't want to wait until 11p tonight on NFL Network to watch this game on tape delay!

SHARK, I like you. I do. But, GO FUCK YOURSELF WITH A BROKEN TREE BRANCH for even suggesting this.

Edit: now I guess it will keep until tomorrow. Priorities keep changing .... did I mention my grandmother is in the hospital recovering (VERY successfully) from Aneurysm surgery on Nov 30th (it was apparently the size of a baseball) and her sister croaked 2 days ago at high noon.

Johnny Mathis can take his "It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and shove it up his jew ass.

Shit, now as I typed this it's back on. Who the hell knows .... maybe I'll ask for a two-fer when I'm there .... but first, time to change the AprilAire filter on the furnace because it's dry as fuck around here.
