I went from being relieved that Rose didn't break his wrist and missing eight weeks, to dread that Noah is out.

Maybe dread is the wrong word, but I'm not sure how to put it. Missing Noah is not as bad as missing Rose would have been, but I had high hopes for him this year. I thought he'd make the all star team as a reserve, but now that is unlikely.

Gibson will get more minutes now which is nice, but it weakens the bench too. Hopefully Boozer is able to STAY healthy for the rest of the year.

If they knew Noah needed surgery, why did he play tonight?

nona has a much better personality, she is easily the better fit for that la kitchen. i just wish they showed more of what theyre actually doing so we could see if either of them are really worth a damn in a high profile business.....

Russell says "bitch" way too much. That's why he fails.

That and Nona fucks Chef Scott and Gordo in a nasty threesome over a steak and risotto.

Because doctors determined he could not injure it any worse.

that celtics/knicks was a thing tonight. so many BAM moments on both sides... and all the knicks fans on #basketball are crying that the clock should have been set to 0.7 after pierce's shot, and also that pierce pushed off on amare.

still tho, damn.... boozer's night was only more impressive than amare's because he had 34 points in 26 minutes !!!!!

Then why not just wait till the off-season?

What I read was the longer term implications were a more complicated surgery and healing process the longer they waited. Long term use of the thumb could have been affected as well. 1 game was not expected to be a big deal.

SIDE NOTE: Who was the long haired guy in the road Blackhawks jersey sitting courtside and hugging Noah at the end of the game? Anyone know?

That takes us through January 7th. It might be a while before they miss him big time. And yes Stacey, I'll sleep on Scalabrine.

they're better than Milwaukee and Philadelphia with Noah. I'm not sure they're still not better without him. Indiana might be a little better than the Bulls without Noah. The rest (Boston, Miami, Atlanta, Orlando and perhaps New York) are better whether Noah is playing or not. So they'll be right where they should be barring other somewhat unavoidable injuries.

And here I thought maybe you were getting past your ignorant basketball statements. No way is Atlanta better than the Bulls with Noah. And the Bulls are better than NY with and without Noah.

There is no way they'll be "many" games below .500

They're 16-10 right now. every other team below them in the conference standings is below .500 and they play in a shitty division outside of Boston. They'll make the playoffs for 99.9% certain and I think they'll get 45-50 wins

if you have to wait for eddy curry to come back and be strong then your team sucks.

The Knicks recently beat the Nuggets and played Boston very tough. They're looking more and more legitimate as the season progresses, especially considering they started 3-8. Fortunately, they play a style of ball that has a history of failure in the playoffs.

Bagels, you also thought I was pretty crazy in the 'Next 13 games' Bulls thread. How did that turn out for me? Extremely well.

please quote the post where I said or intimated that you were 'pretty crazy'

i questioned some of the individual games you had them winning/losing only based on others you predicted but I also said if they were any kind of team we expect them to be they'd win at least some of the really tough games like Lakers, Boston, etc. of which they did

i'd also add that even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile and all that
