You guys are just pissed that you didn't think of it first. It's a great idea. It's too late now cuz they don't have enough time to fix it up. Plus it would have been easier for snow removal at Twins park cuz they would have a lot of empty field to push the snow.

The accomodations for fans would have been better. I'll bet they have heat at the Twins stadium for bathrooms since the Twins have cold games in April and September.

Heck somebody suggested on the day the roof collapsed that they play this game at Wrigley because they already had the purple paint from the Northwestern game handy.

I suggested that today also, and Bigfan got out the pruning shears.

Purple Passion is gone. They replaced the sod the week following the game. Took them until Santo's funeral procession to finish.

Jeez. Sorry. I just checked it.

I don't understand the article. It says the NFL may make it played in Atlanta cuz ESPN has the following Monday in Atlanta. Why would that matter? They could get to Indy and have plenty of time to pack their stuff for Atlanta the following week. They travel to a different city every week anyway. That makes no sense.

I did, but it clearly wasn't a serious suggestion.

Atlanta = most neutral option available, plus it will give the crew that would normally be traveling the opportunity to spend some holiday time with their families. I think you are really insensitive...dick.

But the article said it had nothing to do with what you suggest. They just say it's cuz ESPN is gonna be in Atlanta the following week. I don't understand why that matters.

If the Vikes want to make more money it should be in Indy cuz they could charge and people would pay. Nobody would pay in Atlanta. They'd have to give tickets away again.

You really don't understand the concept of sarcasm, do you?

Doesn't translate sometimes in print. I know that more than most people. I was just focused on you saying it was done cuz it's the most neutral site. I didn't think you said that with sarcasm. I got that the rest was sarcastic.

Yeah, the neutral thing was sarcasm too.

That's brilliant!

Why is this the first I'm hearing of this suggestion?

Where is this son of a bitch? Last I checked, his NFL players haven't raped or murdered anybody in the last few days (Although I could be wrong on that.). His attention should be on this game and he should have made a decision by now.

Perish Cox disagrees with you on this.

that "new york home game" still is etched in my memory. i remember when they dolled it up to look like a new orleans home game. only thing missing...the saints fans! what a joke.

that was such a brutal year to watch. and yes i did watch it...the 52-3 clobbering by the packers (and losing deuce for the year), the pitiful games at tiger stadium with mark brunell at the helm, worry that they'd be the San Antonio Saints in another year...what a nightmare.

How the hell can you build an outdoor football stadium in Minnesota without any heat?

I realize they shut things down in mid-November but I remember being in tropical Champaign-Urbana for home games that were below-0 wind chills. Seems like the Gophers cheaped out so they could have a kick-ass band room.

They hired Jerry Kill, so you know money isn't an issue.
