can I delete my Blazers thread now? THIS team is fucked

at least the Blazers have some good assets....as mentioned in the trade thread I posted pretty much the only thing they have of value is Gerald Wallace. Maybe, MAYBE a contending team bites on Capt. Jack but I doubt it, too risky to chemistry. I thought Augustin was the real deal but it looks like that was moreso Felton.....

trading away Felton so Augustin could start? fail
having Kwame on your roster? fail
having Tyrus wrapped up for another 5 years or so? fail

the one and only positive thing I would say about the team is that they would appear to have at least SOME flexibility cap wise. Tyrus is the only one they have on the books for more than a year or two, everyone else will be up in the next year or two. Problem is who the hell is going to want to come to play for them?

According to reports, Paul Silas is in as coach for the remainder of the season. I didn't even know he was still living.

Not that you will get much for them, but you might see some interest in someone like Nazr Mohamed being interesting to a team because he's in the last year of a 6M deal. I would have said Diop for a team needing a shot blocker - but his contract is atrocious.
