He did. That was unarguably awful.

I think J. Peterman from Seinfeld hosted as well.

Yeah and Ray Combs. That one is sad.

Spmack, his real name is Richard Karn, although he'll always be better known as "Al", Tim Allen's right hand man on the fictional "Tool Time" on "Home Improvement". Of course, the fictional "Tool Time" also introduced America to a future "Baywatch" babe in Pam Anderson as well as Debbe Dunning once Pam decided to devote full time to that other series in the '90s.

Anyway, Karn hosted "Family Feud" from 2002 to 2006 and was replaced by John O'Hurley, who hosted the "Feud" until this past season. I think the reason why O'Hurley's no longer hosting the "Feud" is because he's become quite a star on the stage.

When Steve Harvey took over the "Feud" this season, producers decided to relocate the game show from Los Angeles to Universal Studios Orlando so that Steve can continue to host a popular morning radio show, which I believe airs on V103 weekday mornings locally.

While I haven't seen Steve hosting the "Feud" on MY50 weekdays at 1p, I prefer the original, which airs on GSN, now DIRECTV 233. The original, which aired from 1976-85 on ABC, was hosted by Richard Dawson. While Dawson was hilarious on the original version, he came back after the tragic death of Ray Combs in 1994. Unfortunately, that version of the "Feud" which aired on CBS, was history in 1995.

As many as Bob Barker would have. When the contestant would guess the item up for bid exactly, they would win $500. Females would get their money by reaching into Bob's pocket to get it.

Dawson actually married one of the contestants he slobbered all over.

I've always enjoyed Dawson, I'm sure he's got great stories seeing as he worked with Bob Crane. Did anybody ever see him on The Liars Club? I loved that game show.

Hogans Heroes, Match Game and Family Feud were very kind to Dawson, but his performance in The Running Man takes the cake. He was the only redeeming thing in that shitfest.

There was a reason why Richard Dawson kissed every female contestant when he hosted the "Feud" from 1976-85. I remember Dawson said that it was a custom in his native England and something his mom always thought back in those times was a symbol of good luck.
