he started Windy City Roundball Review from nothing and built it into his own media career as a WGN all star.

On a tangent, I read where Comcast has been given permission to buy NBC.

In the early days, a lot of discussions revolved around certain shows/hosts, and how to make things better. Now we got ISOP, baiting, hatred and circle-jerkery. It's time to morph again

i loathe kaplan. yeah sure he started up some basketball thing and was grassroots and got attention, but somewhere along the way he got blowjobs from all these local media awards (his wikipedia page even proclaims he was a FATHER OF THE YEAR WINNER!) and he became some sort of a kiss-my-ring type on WGN radio and hearing him hold court with his ALS is just.... errrrgh. his cubs postgame shit is horrible because he str8up pulls a joe buck and tells you what to think and if you disagree with him he basically tells you that you're wrong and cuts you down then bans you from his little media empire because you are just one of the sheep who has nothing in the wake to say of him and his alien face.

sure, i technically am a bernstein guy... but i don't get the vibe that bernstein is coming from a holistic place like he's right because he's dan bernstein... and having met the guy IRL at a few remotes you don't get the douchebag vibe from him, he's just a man making his way through the media and for better or worse he's genuinely what he is on air (with the meatball confrontations trumped up for show schtick)
