It took OT for the Bulls to beat them a few weeks back. I think the momentum from Saturday night's game carries over to tonight, and the Bulls win big.

Bulls 117
Pistons 95

Scalabine 32/12/10

Looking forward to this game. I may actually watch this more than the BCS title game.

Hopefully Bulls don't come out flat after big win.

Bulls by 8.

I see Bogans and Thomas both have dropped an astounding 0 pts so far.

They are now a combined 3 pts, but they have excellent +/- numbers right now. Everyone else is in the - and they are +7 and +13. Weird.

That dunk was sick. I think Stacey King just had a heart attack.

Glad they're winning, but this 3 man starting lineup needs to change. Thomas and Bogans a solid 3 points again tonight.

Good win.

Rose is disgustingly good.

Good win for sure. Detroit looked tough in the first half but the Bulls smoked them in the 2nd half. Another good game for the key players. Gordon really looks lost with Detroit. Oh well.

From a Pistons' blog:

I accept that Rose is very good and has us flummoxed. But I can not abide such drivel as "MVP candidate" or "Superstar". I hate these young players being handed shit. Earn the fucking title I say.

I don't believe that was a blog from a Pistons fan.

There are no misspelled words.

Brewer had a fantastic game last night. It's just astounding that he is not starting. The intensity he gives on defense is the reason this team always has a great surge in the 2nd half. It seems like every game they are behind in the 2nd quarter or going into halftime and he just shuts down teams on defense late in game.

Meanwhile, what the hell has happened to Kyle Korver. He has just vanished over the past couple weeks. I checked out his stats and here are his lines from the past few games:

Last Night: 4 Minutes, and a stat sheet full of zeros.
1/8 Boston: 11 Minutes, 0 PTS, 1 REB
1/7 PHIL: 15 Minutes, 4 PTS, 2 AST
1/5 NJ: 17 Minutes, 6 PTS, 1 AST, 1 REB

He must have done something to really piss off Thibs.

His defense sucks and since he's not shooting well - he has no value to be on the floor.

It's amazing that our #1 offensive weakness is SG and that once Ben Gordon got $55M he lost his game. Here refered to as TFASTWOFNO - The Free-Agent Signing That Works Out For No One.

It worked out pretty good for Gordon. He is $55 Million richer.

This. I think the only reason he isn't starting is Thibs knows he is going to end up playing Brewer down the stretch anyway and is trying to get Bogans some minutes early in games. The Bulls could really use a 2 who can get his own shot to pair up with Brewer. Oh and that Rose alley oop was ridiculous.

Yeah, I know, but it seems like the Bulls are playing from behind in nearly every game.

Right now he is averaging 23 minutes a game this season. Those numbers are a little misleading because of the slow start he had because of the hamstring injury. Lately he has been getting 25-30 minutes a game. they could probably punch that up to about 30-35, and have Korver play the rest. Bogans really should only be on the floor when someone is in foul trouble.

I can't really argue with you I don't know what Bogans brings to the table that Brewer/Korver don't. Brewer is a much better defender and passer and Korver is a much better shooter. Bogans is like one of the players on a basketball video game that get created by the computer. He does everything slightly below average.

What's up with the blueish warm up shirts the Bulls have been wearing?

Yeah, they say FIT. I'm guessing the NBA is promoting some kind of fitness program for kids. The players warm up's with the aids ribbon on them in December. The NBA are a bunch of ribbon bullies.

During Live Healthy Week, the entire NBA family – led by the NBA/WNBA FIT Team – will join community members and partners to highlight the importance of healthy living and encourage fans to pledge NBA/WNBA FIT. Live Healthy Week will feature grassroots programs and events, special oncourt apparel, and in-arena and online programming designed to inspire kids and families across the country to live active, healthy lives.

I'm guessing that's why.

FWIW it is sponsored by Honda which makes a car called the Fit as IMU can attest to so i think it is some sort of corporate synergy tie in type thing as well.
