I like FavreFan too. Evidently more based on how much I hang out with him. I'm not pushing for him to be unbanned any longer.

I like posting on CSFMB since it seems to be the only decent sports message board for Chicago. When Frank is posting across 10 different threads each day just trolling or taking shots at the moderator, it isn't "good" for the message board. It no longer becomes a forum for sports discussion...it just ends up being a toxic Reddit, SomethingAwful, or 4chan thread.

Which is why a temporary ban was/is appropriate.

Instead of posting about sports, or any other on-topic subject, Frank and bigfan constantly bicker at each other and take shots. They interrupt countless threads. It is annoying.

It would be a lie to say I think the board needs everyone back. There are a couple posters who are gone that I didnt like.

I am not. I am just doing what the big man requested and staying out of it. I would like to see like 99% of the people in the past 9 months who have been banned be brought back. He asked for those of us who wanted Frank back not to bother so I am not wasting my time. I can see where he is coming from on this one. The others where kinda perplexing but this one was kinda you could see it coming like a Cutler interception.

When I am stuck and need to figure something out I always remember the Immortal words of Socrates when he said:"I just drank what?"

It is a disturbing trend though. Most of the topics discussed on this board are non sports related. The overriding tendency is skewed heavily towards discussion about topics that are non sports related. The greatest amount of traffic is geared towards events that happens in people's everyday life. The show that is discussed most heavily on the board is a show that openly professes to hate sports. The threads that create the most amount of traffic are related to the meanderings of the of a host who rarely watches sports.

When I first signed on here there were number of heavy hitter type guys that posted. For whatever reason they no longer exist. I didn't post much then but i loved to read the musings of said posters. There are a few from that period that still post but it does appear that the number is dwindling significantly by the week. They are not really being replenished with new posters either.
