So this guy got pushed out for not curing Missouri of racism?
It looks that way. Problem solved!
I think it was the poop swastika in the bathroom stall that pushed this thing over the edge.
Apparently it was a lack of official statement on Ferguson that started the whole racial angle.

Statement Regarding the Events in Ferguson
Dear Mizzou family members,
I am writing to express my support for all members of our community who may be directly or indirectly affected by the ongoing events in Ferguson.
MU fully supports opportunities for our students, faculty and staff to continue to reflect upon current events in Ferguson in a constructive and respectful way. My thanks to our many campus organizations who have made this possible by sponsoring events that allow our community members to come together to express their feelings and discuss the larger implications of events for our community, state and nation. It is my hope that these activities, and others that are yet to be scheduled, will continue the open dialogue that can bring us closer together as a community.
Student Life is prepared to reach out to students from Ferguson who may need our support. Our outstanding staff in the Black Culture Center have offered them support and will continue to provide a place where students who are affected by these events can express their feelings and concerns.
At Mizzou, our diversity is our strength. The perspectives of our diverse community enrich our dialogue on difficult issues. It is our responsibility to provide an environment where everyone can learn and where we can address the complexity of the social issues that have affected our community in the past and will shape how we face the future.
I also want to assure everyone in our community that we have resources and dedicated professional staff right here on campus to help you if any of you need assistance in working through these issues. Please contact me personally (
loftinr@missouri.edu), Vice Chancellor Cathy Scroggs (
scroggsc@missouri.edu) or MU’s professional staff at MU’s Counseling Center and/or the Employee Assistance Program.
Wishing you peace for the Thanksgiving holiday.
R. Bowen Loftin
Chancellor
