Mac, my apologies, I now realize that you created this thread as a branch off from the Meatball Mac thread. I thought you came out of nowhere with this.

Is it me, or does Dan seem to take little or no responsibility for his issue with the Bears.

He called an executive a bitch. I think she was from comcast.

Bears shouldn't have gotten into it.

You're absolutely right.

Say, what was the story on how Sara Kustok got fired again?

Yeah but hubbies with money tend to think they are more important than they are and like to control things or get revenge.

Mac shouldn't have called her a bitch even if she was one.

She didn't get fired, she went to work for YES, unless you know something I don't.

NO! The Hawks have never done anything wrong, that is why Mac is still a fan. They didnt fire a host for a simple slip up on camera. She was giving Hossa pain pills and force feeding them down his throat. Rocky Wirtz said " The Bears may do that kind of thing but we dont here."

Must be something in the water in Highland... Everyone is crazy there.

They also have a guy who beat his wife as a Team Ambassador.

How about the White Sox and the way they got rid of Fisk?

I'd guess almost all most pro teams have these kinds of issues. Even the Packers with Farve wasn't a very pleasant separation.

Exactly what I'm saying. Mac has the most valid reason to be pissed off but he wraps it around all this stupid shit for some reason. If the Bears tried to mess with my career I would be pissed too.

I appreciate Mac's post. No matter what you think, that Jim Morrissey story is really nasty. They cut the guy to save a few bucks? (pennies for a billion dollar organization) I hope things change for the better with George in charge now. Mac doesn't mention the most interesting part of Bears lore.

How was Mugsy Halas dying a screw job to the Halas clan? The McCaskey's run the show. I don't get that.

I doubt that would even cost the Bears anything more than it would normally owe. That's a league pension, not a Bears-specific pension. Not sure how that works but I don't think Jimmy Morrissey getting a pension would have a material financial impact to the Bears. Might be wrong.

It is. The Jets, Packers, and UM have done it, too, though for different positions:

http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2013/0 ... leads.html

Quote:
Aside from finding Seahawks GM John Schneider, Hughes has led searches for Michigan head coach Brady Hoke and athletic director Dave Brandon, Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy and current Jets president Neil Glat.
