I am actually shocked AM sports radio in any markets is still happening. With twitter, youtube, podcasts, etc.etc. our ADHD society will leave on a channel and listen to live radio while commercials are playing? Do hosts still do a tease?

I see on Ostrowski's Twitter page that he is bragging about "61% in 2021 Circa Million." What does this mean and why is it significant?

i thought he was at his best during the mid-late 90's bulls threepeat. not really a b-ball fan, but i made sure i'd try to listen to him with his evening bulls reports. today's dan plays the same predictable sjw violin every day. the same note.

Part of Bernstein's problem was that he began to let adoration from his well-off white collar types friends, family members, and twitter followers influence his programming decisions. We joke that Dan was doing Radio For People On Twitter, but when you look back at the times where he was the most insufferable for extended periods of time (Penn State, UCLA hiring Steve Alford, Patrick Kane rape allegations, etc.), his decision to harp on these subjects make more sense if the person programming the show isn't doing so for mass appeal, but for a small sect of people they want to impress. Yeah, ball jokes and "by cracky's" got you to the promised land, but now you have the chance to have doctors and lawyers and intellectuals tell you you're Really Smart and One Of The Good Ones at cocktail parties.

It's like what happened with Bud Light: that marketing exec didn't okay that promotion because she thought it was a lock to sell more beer, she did it because she's a Manhattanite who wanted praise from other Manhattanites for proclaiming that AB is on the right side of history.

It does seem the term "woke" is now taking on a new meaning as people from all political persuasions are starting to wake up and see the impact of the soft on crime agenda, even saw CNN playing video from one of the smash and grab mob things which they would never have done three months ago.

The Score appears to really have gone on the cheap and cut back on Bears talk guests.

From what I can tell, they seem to have a lot of Bears guests, not big change from last season with the exception of losing the radio rights on WBBM and not having Joniak/Thayer any longer.

Does Grote still cover the team? I found it curious that he was in studio on Monday filling in for Mulligan (which seemingly is becoming a common thing also), but then they had Dan Wiederer on from a Tampa airport. Wouldn't Grote also be in TB if he was covering the team or is the Score's version of coverage just home games (like Bernstein when he covered the Bulls in Chicago except for the Finals but then likes to tell reporters stories)?

Maybe cutting back on Grote covering the Bears on the road?

Could be but it's not out of the realm of possibility that Grote flew home Sunday night. Also, they just added Chase Daniels as a regular guest today.

Haven't seen any Score Bears talk visits this season from Michael Lombardi, and Boomer Esiason. Trent Dilfer is now a coach. Hub it appears is only making limited rare appearances.

They need to have J.T. O'Sullivan on their payroll. I believe they auditioned him last year, but he wasn't particularly animated.

Just read the recent Audacy financial release. Looks like a creditor led recap. Not sure if it will take a prepack b/k filing, but it is coming. Revenues were down 5% in the quarter and are tracking down 9% for the current quarter.
