This whole transition feels like Mac and Bernstein are competing to see who can have the bigger case of confirmation bias.

Dave, Dan appreciates things on very specific levels that the average person cannot comprehend. Didn't you just hear him use words like "systemic" and "circadian rhythms"? That proves he's enjoying football the way it's meant, no...the way it demands to be enjoyed.

I wanna see how this show plays out. Dan was relentlessly gushing about how much "football stuff" was going on last night and how people were saying "such smart things" after the game. It'll be interesting to hear his take on the details of that "stuff" and those "things"

Bernstein always hates anyone who cites emotion in sports arguments. Yet, you have a coach who clearly uses emotion to motivate players better on the 49ers side. I'm pretty sure emotion is a big part of football. Only someone clueless like Bernstein focuses solely on the intellectual element as good, and craps on the emotional element, when most people recognize that you need both.
