It's your beer. It's your merchandise. It's your gay marriage ceremonies in left field (planned by @SQNEvents).

Chris Bosh is way way better than Horace Grant.

While that may be somewhat true, the Bulls needed Grant's contributes specifically. Bosh would not have fit in so well on those teams.

Ya know, I actually gave this a listen today....or at least I tried to. Made it until about 2pm.

Not a very good show, it was pretty bad.

-Beating up on the Hawk.
-Hockey Strawman: Everyone in Chicago thinks the Hawks shouldn't trade anyone or get rid of anyone or sign anyone new. They were very confused by this.
-Hockey Strawman: Every hockey fan, excluding themselves, thinks the Hawks lacked the "will" and the "passion" to win and thus they are all idiots.
-Bad baseball talk.

Now I understand why the ratings are in the toilet.

I'm not sure about that one. But Horace was one of my favorite Bulls players so I'm biased.

This show has become so predictable, it's boring. When I heard the cubs radio news this morning we all knew what Danny's stance would be. "Why do you care about tradition? It's stupid." Turned on the radio after work, sure enough....<click>.

You know, it's hard to blame B&B for their stance on the Heat/90's Bulls thing. The 90's were a very long time ago and it would be easy for anyone to forget how good Horace, Pax, Cartwright, etc. were. I mean, its not like one of these guys ever covered that team...

You know the interesting thing about Michael Jordan? Athletes throughout history have evolved. We know that Babe Ruth couldn't play in low A ball today and that George Mikan was so uncoordinated that he would be living at Misericordia rather than playing in the NBA if he were in his 20s right now. But Jordan and his teams, well, the defy evolution.

The thing about the Bulls is that they ushered in the evolution. There is not that much different from them to teams today but there is a striking contrast between the Bulls and the Pistons or Celtics. I guess the evolution might have started with the Lakers but they are decidedly a team from their era.

You're talking about style of play though. Not some foolishness about humans having evolved in 20 or even 100 years. If the players are physically superior it's due to training and nutrition, not evolution. I have no doubt the average skater in hockey is faster than he was forty years ago. But not because Nick Leddy is a physically superior human being to Yvan Cournoyer. It's because of nutrition, training, and in a game like hockey, ice surfaces and equipment.

Way way better than Grant?

No.

I am not sure Bosh is even slightly better than Grant. But there is no way he is way way better.

People forget to adjust for the rule changes.

Grant could have been a 20-10 guy with these rules

Horace's problem was an inability to handle strong pressure. I remember his game six against Phoenix specifically.

The game where he secured the title by blocking Mayor Kevin Johnson's last shot attempt?

sure, and he assisted on Pax's shot. But the game in whole for him was awful.

I know. I was just giving you shit.

Also, Grant had two other premier scorers on the team. I imagine he would have been Elton Brand without MJ and Scott
