You've got the short term memory it seems. His defensive WAR went up every year since 2010, don't think that would happen if he's lazy. His hitting in 2010 and 2012 seasons were waaaaaay better than his last 4 months as a Cub.

Look at his August splits...

Some players are known for starting a season hot...or cold. Or doing well at home versus the road. Or hitting well the day after an offday. Or hitting better from the 2 hole than the 6 hole.

I wish....he is lazy...simple...even last night when he was on second coming around at full speed he looks for the first chance to pull up and go into that jog he loves so much....guys that hustle, run hard the whole way, they spring across first because they play the game the right way. RESPECT THE 90.

I stated in Milwaukee, he hit the ball hard on a number of occassions and I thought that would continue, but its not enough to want to keep him.
