Both appear nasty when on their games.

I don't understand why they don't just get it over with and move Castro to third base. Maybe they don't want to hurt his trade value but keeping him at SS to continue making stupid plays isn't helping his trade value either.

The crap they have scrapped together at 3rd this year has about 3 times the offensive output of him. I would move him to the bench.

I don't believe that for a second.

I don't know what he is. Ideally I like him at 2nd but I am concerned at how much his bad defense will cost them. 2b involves a lot of things other than good range. He needs to be the point man for cuts, double plays....lots of mentally involved plays. Basically he needs to get 180 hits and he needs to get his ass on base other ways in addition to that with his total lack of power. If he does that he can play 3rd.
