Holy shit!!! I thought this was a night game. Arietta was in total beast mode today. He even got those bastards back and hit Craig after the Cards once again hit a cub batter. 7-0 ....Glorious!!! Looks like Nasty Nate and Murphy did the heavy lifting on offense.

I had to read the headline twice. Nice to see the Cubs shut those bastard birds out!

...and then Yadi doesn't even get in the game today. I'm pretty sure they activated him off the DL though.

Didn't see the game today but the Cubs may have struck gold with both Strope and Arietta for Feldman.

Both appear nasty when on their games.

And Feldman has been pretty bad for the O's.

Sad part is he was doing better defensively. He has been caught daydreaming one time too many.

None of this would have happened if he was taking his Adderol.

Good. I am sick of Castro's shit this year and even last. Dead ass young ball player. Can't win with em. Can't do it. Give him a week off or even make him go play in Iowa for a few weeks.

Somebody need to explain to the Fox announcers that the fact the infield fly rule was called means nothing. If it wasn't called, the runner still tags.

Never fear, Jedstein will dump his ass this off-season.

I'd play Mark Wahlberg at SS the rest of the way:

I don't understand why they don't just get it over with and move Castro to third base. Maybe they don't want to hurt his trade value but keeping him at SS to continue making stupid plays isn't helping his trade value either.

The crap they have scrapped together at 3rd this year has about 3 times the offensive output of him. I would move him to the bench.

You need to trade him now before he's worthless.

Moving him to third base is not about this year. It's about getting his head out of his ass and getting him back to being the player he used to be.

He is the player he used to be.

Need to face up to it.

I don't know what he is. Ideally I like him at 2nd but I am concerned at how much his bad defense will cost them. 2b involves a lot of things other than good range. He needs to be the point man for cuts, double plays....lots of mentally involved plays. Basically he needs to get 180 hits and he needs to get his ass on base other ways in addition to that with his total lack of power. If he does that he can play 3rd.
