Last year was not a WS rotation. The rotation is less than it was last year.

There are glaring holes all over this roster.

The non-signing of Rodon looks horrible right now...if he keeps it up and doesn't get hurt, that will be a black eye on Hahn. It would also be another knock on whoever is doing their medical evaluations/training. The guys they have are always hurt and the guy they deemed and discarded as damaged stays healthy.

He has the Tigers at 6-10.

He had five walks over four innings. Let's not make it seem like he was mowing guys down, and took a tough luck Quintana type loss. He's sucked for the better part of a year now.

Judging by the White Sox's offensive output lately, every one of their recent opponents seems to have a "WS rotation".

I think that's the wrong question to ask. Given the truncated spring training and SP outings being shorter than ever, the question likely should be 'What team has a WS bullpen?'

For all of Hendriks's issues, the Sox bullpen has really been pretty good overall early on here. They have had to cover a ton of outs and, for the most part, have kept the Sox in almost every game.

For the record, I'm not even thinking Sox WS right meow. .500 seems like a pipedream at this point.

Giolito, Kopech, Lynn, Cease wouldn’t be an awful playoff rotation.

Getting there and staying healthy seems unlikely.

 Its the same rotation as last year substituting Kopech for Rodon who was the best pitcher on the staff last year and they got their shit pushed in.

That means they will never be successful ever again. Best to give up now.

I wasn’t personally at any of those games so I can’t speak to what did or did not happen.

In 2022, a World Series rotation is four guys who will pitch four innings per appearance and give up one run or less. Do they have four guys who can do that? Probably.

That was surprising and nice, but was TLR responsible for it? I’d be more inclined to credit freak streak hitting from Mercedes, solid pitching and a bit of luck than managerial superiority. TLR is certainly not the only reason they suck now either, but he certainly has been a larger detractor than a manager should be.

I’m definitely guilty of that, but at what point should the guy get credit given the circumstances? He rolls out uncompetitive lineups at least once a week and his pitching decisions were atrocious at points, but if he should get the heat when they lose, does he get any credit when they won like they did last year?

NO....it was dumb luck.

Under .500 since last year's All Star break. Bigger sample size than the lucky period.

I heard that stat too and wonder if it holds true if traced back to the Mercedes incident.
