That there ever was an actual "Golden Era" of sports....with a straight face.

Any sport that routinely has 1 or 2 man advantages that still end in zero scoring should not be considered a sport. Any real athletes would dominate with that sort of advantage.

I think most would consider baseball a sport.

A good pitcher can dominate 9 other guys and hold them to zero. Happens all the time.

having 2 batters face a pitcher at the same time would be pretty cool
get on it Bud!

That usually only happens when Dusty Baker is making out the lineup card.

It would be interesting to see 9 guys bat all at once. With a head the size of your's, im thinking it might collide with another guy's bat.

My friend's dad used to say every NBA game should start at 100-100, and have them play for two minutes. He would proceed to get a sly grin on his face like he just came up with something groundbreaking. Each time he said it. Each time.

I made a $50 bet with a coworker before the season that the Mavs would make the playoffs. He thought they wouldn't because he said Chandler was clearly the best player on last year's team. After the first five games he was laughing his ass off and saying I should stick to the Bulls because I clearly didn't know about the Mavs. Clearly.

I could hit this guy (enter any major league pitcher's name here )!

No you can't - If you could, you wouldn't have stopped playing baseball at 15 when you got cut from your high school team.

Sluggers had a 80 MPH batting cage for some time. I remember paying, grabbing the bat, stepping up to the plate, waiting for the ball, hearing a thump against the back padding and looking down to see a baseball roll away. I promptly walked back out of the batting cage.

Dan Bernstein is the smartest man on the radio. If you do not believe this, just ask him and he will confirm it.

For such an Einstein, this was one of the most stupid statements ever made in the history of radio.

It is perfectly fine for a team mate to bail on her team when the playoffs start.

Walter Payton was a great teammate for pouting about not scoring while everyone else was celebrating a Super Bowl.

Lots of college kids miss things for spring break

All I'm saying is that is ridiculous to compare one of the greatest athletes in the history of sports, who missed 1 game in his entire career & was known for his work ethic & for having good relationships with his team mates, to a College athlete who bails on her team when the team needs her the most, in the playoffs.

Division III (half step up from intramurals) women's college basketball history is forever tainted

Could a Division III women's team even make the IHSA Girls Final Four???
