Theres still 13 games left in the season, and plenty of football to play. The Vikings suck, the Lions just gave up 56 points to a team that looked horrible the first two weeks, and while the Packers look good, they definitely have their own flaws as well. Rex looks really bad, and I think everyone is on the same page that a change there is needed, but if they can make that change, it could work out well. And there is still like a 5% chance Rex can overcome all this and win back the team.
As for Benson, and I cant believe I am saying this as the resident leader of the TJ Fan Club, well hes only started 4 games. Give him at least half the season. He has the physical skills to play the position, all the things he needs to work on can be coached on some level. They really need to teach him how to pickup blitzes, and he needs to study a shitload more film so maybe it will help with his vision and instincts.
Berrian has shown flashes but hes still young and not used to being the #1 WR. He drops alot of balls it seems but everyone and their mother knows he is getting the ball every single play. Moose sucks, theres no hope for him, might as well bench him the rest of the year, but I think Berrian can develop into a #1 WR.
I havent heard how bad Tommie got hurt, but assuming they can remain somewhat healthy, this defense will single handedly win you guys 9 games, especially with the remaining schedule. They looked bad yesterday, but alot of that had to with turnovers, fatigue, and general demoralization with the offense.
Ron Turner needs to be fired right now. Im not gonna even try to give reason for optimism for him. Lovie Smith should be put on a short leash as well.
Bottom Line is this team has enough talent still to win 10 games, and its still possible to right the ship. This team isnt 1-5, its 1-2 and lost to two very good football teams. I dont see that as a reason to start eyeing top 5 picks and jump onto other teams bandwagons just yet(although there is room on the Packers'

)
