close to $20 mill when Salary cap increase included in cap space for next year.....That Jared Allen contract sucks though! $15 mill in guaranteed money and it is spread over 3 years if they cut him, so you need to apply $10 mill against cap.

Now the problem is finding someone who can spend it correctly.

Don't be so quick on Allen. We knew he took off running plays and the Bills ran to the tune of almost 200 yards.

I find it hard to believe they will eat money on Shea's contract. Next they will try to make him a TE.

Like when He was on the ground in the middle of the field when conte got that interception. Allen doesn't have three years left no was. I wasn't a fan of the signing. Hey bye old, we just got new old.

The Chicago Bulls/White Sox tradition of signing what are basically retired superstars continues in the Bears now and Allen.

I originally thought the $15 mill was his contract over 3 years and they guaranteed a year, for $6 mill. so if he sucked, just cut him and thats it financially.

I shall withold my vote on Allen

That makes me feel better. Much better calculated risk.
