Fwiw if a team like the Bear don't take a flyer on Aaron Murray in the late 3rd/4th round, they're nuts. But (and yes, this is a big one) for his injury, I think he is/was worlds better than any of the QBs being overloved in this draft hype. Especially as a projected pro. Get him for short end cash, and then you can avoid all short term controversy (2yrs) as he's going to sit on IR for a year to shadow the coach. Hell, I want the Saints to grab him if he's there.

I see Manziel as the reincarnation of Ryan Leaf. I cannot wait to watch that jackass fail. He won't have the slow Mike Evans jumping over soon to be gym teachers to bail his goofy ass out, but no one seems to pick up on this.

Bridgewater is the best of the rest, but you have yet another Carr, and a variety of kids who played at generally crappy small schools and/or have plenty of warts, don't seem particularly bright and with none of them mistaken for having all of the tools.

I agree with you on Murray. I've been a huge fan of his and he fits Trest's system perfectly.

It may very well be likely that Fuller is ahead of Dennard in some people's minds. Emery had him in for a visit and there is no way he is there in the second. Put him into my acceptable choices if Donald is gone.

Good Dolphin nailed it
I have to give him credit. One of his 9 potential picks came through as the right one!

The thread was started one year ago with AJ Mc Carron.

Don't be so hard on yourself.

I had them taking a CB (Gilbert).

But, also had Fales as a borderline 1st-rounder.

Or not.

I say they take -

1st round - Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State
2nd round - David Fales, QB, San Jose State

April 2013. I was only off by 4 rounds.

He's a Tresty dream. Accurate. Makes good reads.

Here is my "Adam Hoge Super Ignatian Mocking The Mocks One Week Before The Draft Mock"

1. Aaron Donald, DT, Pitt- unique pass rush skills for a DT, undersized and may present problems against power running teams but pussy Eddie Lacey is overrated and fat
2. Jimmie Ward, S, NIU- comes from a school for functional illiterates but the guy can cover like a CB which is what I want in a safety in the modern NF of L
3. Stanley Jean-Baptiste, CB, Neb- huge CB to take over for Peanut when he retires/breaks down, a little bit of a work in progress so the year gives him time
4. Yawin Smallwood, MLB, Conn- can run like the wind and play three downs, a little light and when teamed with Donald it means that Fat Eddie might Avg 3.5 YPC rather than 3
5. Antuone Exum, S/CB, VT- inured last year but another huge DB with CB skills and S size, taking a risk with an injured player but if this and Jean Baptiste hit, you suddenly have a defensive backfield to rival the Seahawks in size
6. David Fales, QB, SJSU- Local yokel Dr. Ken called this one six months ago. Fales is a Trestman guy with a very high completion percentage but not a great arm. With his last name I wouldn't be surprised if Theo drafted him next month. Maybe Coast returns to this site full time to talk about him
6b. Pat O'Donnell- the diaspora of jewish bears continues as Carimi and now Podlesh are gone. Obviously Trestman is self loathing.

Any schmuck can hit first round projections. Here at CSFMB we look to nail the sixth round.
