This year is weird, I have never seen Bears fans so "accepting" of the situation. I remember in years past you had the "billboards", the "Protests" outside of Halas Hall. I don't see a lot of that. Bears fans seem "resigned to the fate" of this infinite shittyness.

That's worse for the Bears and the NFL than anger.

A top 5 pick in a tepid QB class. The QB they pick, they will probably screw up. Pace can draft, sort of, I think.... but Fox is a limp dick of a coach and they probably need to hit the reset button on him, but they wont.

What is there to look forward to?

I don't see a QB you can take in the top 4 of this draft.

Best case is they get a guy in the early 2nd if they end up picking that high.

People say this every year besides the one with Andrew Luck. That isn't an over exaggeration either.

Last year people were saying the same thing too.

The Rams got really unlucky or made a bad choice but the Eagles, Broncos, and Cowboys* are glad they drafted a qb last year. The Bears need to play the QB lottery too.

Ryan Pace is the same Mensa candidate that told us there were no QB's were drafting past the 1st round this year.

They have the best defensive coach on the planet. I am comfortable giving him everything he needs to succeed and then filling in other pieces.

You can win with great defense and a good running game. Those pieces are kind of in place.

I am very rapidly coming around to the idea of Leonard Fournette in the first. There are going to be a lot of good QB's available in the early 2nd round, this draft may lack a frontline superprospect but it makes up for that in depth, I think its better than last year's class.
