I'd be in favor but it will never happen. The Vikings maybe (doubtful) but they would never trade him to the Bears and they would be crazy to do so.

If it came down to Bears or Vikings, I think they'd go Bears in a heartbeat. Even with Favre, the Bears have a shitty O-line, shitty receivers, and a mediocre running game.

For the Packers, he's less of a threat as a Bear, than he is as a Viking.

But, it'll never happen.

No. The Packers are asking for a first and third rounder. I know that sounds stupid, but thats what they want. Supposedly they said no to the Jets proposed offer of a 2nd and 4th.

They won't get that, even for Farve. Farve is a short-term answer, that's way too much for a team to give up.

Farve is better than anything the Bears have...

If I am the Green Bay Packers and it came down to a choice of whether to trade Favre to Chicago Or Minnesota, I vote Chicago and it has almost nothing to do with the level of talent on the Bears.

I would send him to Chicago because the Bears and Packers don't play each other until like week 10 or 11 where as they play Minnesota week 1 on Monday Night Football AT LAMBEAU. Those factors alone would make me take Chicago over Minnesota in a heartbeat.

Bears management is dumb. To say they promised these 2 losers the chance, and they would never look at Favre is stupid.

What everyone is forgetting is that Favre blows when indoors. The ButtPackers shouldn't have much to fear trading him to the Viqueens.

Someone might offer a 1st round pick just for the sake of the gates. Favre in NY would be huge and would make the Giants the second team for a year or 2. He has a better opportunity to win a SB in Minnesota. It looks like they are an NFL quarterback short of having a SB team.

Just about every team in the NFL sells out, it wouldn't be necessary from that POV. Maybe in Jacksonville, but they wouldn't make that tade with Garrard.
