Quit trying to play the victim here. You are the only one that is angry here.

If you took my advice earlier, then you wouldn't have to be making shit up now because you got pissed and look foolish.

I guess?

Can we keep going like this to see who has the last word?

That’s how you do it right?

I fucking love it.

Then act like you love it.

You should aspire to be as tough as Jemele Hill.

I believe I am tougher than Jemele Hill.

However you want to quantify that.

I'm doubtful of that statement.

You made those alt right fellows out to be pretty tough, (whatever the hell the term alt right means), in your original post.

And Jemele Hill didn't get to where she is by being a push over.

She wrote the article to get the kind of response she wanted. Clicks and talk on the article just makes her richer. Controversy creates cash.

OmG are you like this in real life?

Fucking parsing words is the most tiring shit on this board.

Figure it out yourself.

Think outside the box.

There is no box. There is a corner.

You said she "let them force her into a corner"

So she wrote a click bait article, or she was forced into a corner by these alt right people?

I got you bud.

She was forced into a corner, and caved to the pressure of her critics.

In retaliation she wrote a click bait article.

I could be totally wrong, or some sort of percentage of right.

This isn’t a courtroom.

Really, you’re just mad about the Harbaugh thread from yesterday anyway.

You have an exceptionally petty aspect of your personality.

What the hell are talking about with the Harbaugh thread? I was one of the few here who didn't want him as a coach for the Bears.

And why are you not telling me who and what these alt right folks are?

I think you should have stuck with Nardi's explanation too by he way.

Something to do with parents balking at the high sticker-price of college + the need to offer generous fin-aid packages to compete for the best students who couldn't get into their first choice school putting pressure on schools to find other sources of revenue besides student fees.

I'm sure that may be true, but I also think that such a focus on football can have an effect on a university's reputation. Take Northwestern, for example. The entire campus has been transformed in pursuit of football excellence. If I'm a smart kid who doesn't give a shit about football, maybe I choose to attend some small liberal arts school like Swarthmore or Earlham rather than going to a wannabutneverwillbe Ohio State.

And maybe Pat Ryan wasn't going to donate money for a library. But I think what's happened at NU does suggest a particular set of priorities that aren't necessarily congruent with academic excellence.

One thing it definitely improves is the number of applicants. Usually (in the case of NU, Clemson, and Alabama) that means you can choose a more accomplished student body. Alabama also offers tons of other aid, but football has helped a lot.

College football is probably going away anyway. Can they draw 70,000 for soccer? I hope I am dead or at least blind before then.
