Did anyone catch Pierzynski on The Jerry Springer Show, stepping into the "Steve" role and breaking up the fights? He even jumped on the stripper pole!

There was talk today on MJH as to why the 85 Bears endure and why the White Sox of 05 didn't bump them. While I think Mac hit it on the head with saying that the Bears are loved by all while the Sox are loved by 1/3 of the city (if they're lucky) the Bears also had an attitude about them. Pierzynski has a certain eff you attitude that I like and I'm surprised he's hasn't been adopted by Chicago fans in a stronger fashion (I'd hate him and did when he was on the oppostion but love him on my team).

I'm done worrying about how everyone else sees my team. I know what they were to me and thats all that counts. A world Series would have been sweeter when I was a kid (77, 83, 93) but I will take it. I think we will be in the hint this year to.

I don't think it's fair to compare the 85 Bears to the 05 Sox. The 85 Bears are acknowledged as one of the greatest teams ever in NFL history.

I think the 05 Sox will be more fondly remembered than the 06 Bears even if they beat the Colts. The Sox had a magical roller coaster of a season in 05 that produced a ton of memorable moments. This Bears season has been workman-like with very few memorable moments.

besdies, you know chicago...what have you done for me lately. whats fresh in sox fans minds right now is how they pissed away a playoff berth in the 2nd half of 2006.

sox did have so many magical moments. outside of the cardinals, the bears have basically blown everybody out of the water
