First off,I have now seen enough 3D movies to make this claim to Hollywood: Stop it,3D is a sucker game. Taking an extra few bucks from folks is hurting your already low credibility.

Now the movie review:

Seth Rogen is no Van Williams (TV Green Hornet). Jay Chou can never replace Bruce Lee,but his likability factor in this movie gives him an "attaboy" from me. Overall, the movie entertained me and despite some big time movie reviewers giving it 1 star,I say "no way".
The worst parts of the movie were anything where an automobile was involved. The action scenes should have been shot more realistically instead of a "Dukes of Hazzard" mentality.
As far as the actors,Seth made me laugh out loud a number of times. His "friendship" with Kato (Jay Chou) is the highlight of the movie. They get along, but also fight like a couple of little toddlers. The story is a simple one about a guy trying to be a head of all gangs in LA.
The villian is played by the guy from "Inglorius Bastards". He was ok,not much for him to do.
The movie rates 3 out of 5 stars from me. Easy to watch but in need of a better "action" director.

3D has to be the biggest con going right now. A couple extra bucks on every ticket and 95% of it doesn't add a thing to the movie. If anything, it hurts because you have to wear the dumbass glasses and get headaches. (maybe that's just me, but it sucks)

3-D goes through phases of popularity. we went through this in '83 as well, and it was bad. at least there are a few movies that have decent 3-D this time around. but it is oversaturated and ridiculous.
