With the Bears in the NFC title game this week, I don't think so at all.

I'd much rather listen to Tom Coughlin or Mike Holmgren on the Saloon than Rivera anyway.

Maybe I'm not being fair because the Mac & Meat is a totally different show but it is by far an inferior product to what MJH was.

Even if you choose to listen to Mac, W&S is still a good show and they do some things better. Interviews is one of them. I understand if you can't take the vanilla ESPNy stuff but it doesn't take away from what they do well.

I just don't think that getting the new coach of the Carolina Panthers on your show during the week of the NFC Champ game (which the BELOVED are playing in) is a big deal at all, no matter what show Chico happened to be on.

It's not, spmack is kidding. Would it be a big deal or great if Mac had him on?

He is an ex bear and just got a HC job that he had been looking for, for about 2 years. They had Singletary, Don Majkowski, and somebody else on yesterday too. They were all entertaining or at least fine. They are doing okay with the meatballedness and past Bear/Packer stuff. From other posts Mac seemingly wants to discuss how Lovie is lucky and GB is the better team. IMO he's not doing it right.

Well Ron Rivera has a playing and coaching history here so I'm sure there are fans who wanna here what he has to say about finally getting a head coach job and Bears/Packers thoughts.

One thing about W&S is that they get the best guests of all the local shows.

I would listen to Mac every once in a while but imo Meat is Harry bad so that show is a no go for me

I switched over to S&W during the Hampton replay on DMS.
What is the deal with that screaming drop they play....rather annoying. Waddle was screaming something, echoed with a drop. :roll:

I stayed 'til the end though. I really do like these guys, but 1A unfortunately.
