Oh my...

Its ironic because its things like Kirk wrote there that generally are the cause of, ahem, "uprisings."

But thats just my opinion.

I dont care to discuss it any further with you.

Seacrest,

if you have an issue with some regular poster(s) you should address that with them.

Nothing Scorehead or I post has anything to do with it

LOL!

So you repeatedly call me a racist, & when I ask you why you think I am, this is your response?
You might want to consider your accusations a little bit more before making them.

As for Cosby, if you don't believe that there was an uprising in the black community over his remarks, well, then you are ignorant. Do a fucking search on it if you aren't familiar with this situation.

Im likely more familiar with the situation than you. (Im a big Cosby guy)

I know some black people didnt like it.

What you REPEATEDLY FAIL to recognize is the Black community is not ONE VOICE.

They didnt have a meeting and decide to be anti Cosby.

Do you get that?

Do you understand how racially insensitve it was when you said you were surprised Kid Cairo liked Cosby?

Do you understand how thinking you know what Kid Cairo thinks about a subject because of his skin color is prejudice?

Bill Cosby is a fine conservative republican. MY GUY!

Seacrest if you think grouping together people and their thoughts by skin color, like Scorehead did/does, is ok, then we just disagree.

If you think that making yourself the arbiter of what is racist, and what isn't is your area of expertise, then we can just agree that you are sadly mistaken.

There are others here that post far more racially insensitive stuff on a regular basis then SH does.

'Crest,

Thanks. I'll re-up my Daily Herald sub for another year.

Quote:
Calling the election of Barack Obama a new era for “change," "choices," and "challenges,” comedian and author Bill Cosby urged personal responsibility and self-sacrifice within the African-American community on "Meet the Press."

Reflecting on the task ahead, the legendary comedian said, “I believe he's asking us to look around and see in all honesty what we can do.”

Cosby spoke movingly of his personal experience voting for the Democratic presidential candidate. “I took my father’s picture,” he said. “I took my mother’s picture, and I took my brother James’ [picture]. He died when he was seven; I was eight. I took the three of them into the voting booth in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, and I pulled the curtain, took their pictures out and I said, ‘Now we are going to vote’ … And I did that ... it was wonderful."

You may want to re-consider that SH. My issue isn't the content of the posts directed toward you.

My issue is with RPB electing himself the one who decides what's racist, and then being selective in whom he attaches that label to. You see if RPB appoints himself the arbiter, and then states that he knows other posters that post racially insensitive material here and for whatever reason he doesn't call them out for it...

Not true.

I didnt say anything about other posters.

YOU said that.

I responded that what other posters do is not relavant.

Read Carefully.

No matter how much you want to make this about other posters or me declaring myself judge (I havent) its not.

Its me noticing a pattern with Scorehead.

Thats it.

Well, this might have been the worse coached game of Lovies head coach career. Here they are off the top of my head:

1. 3rd & 1 & the Bears call an end around with Bennett.
2. Choosing to punt from the Packers 34 rather than attempt a field goal. The punt netted 11 yards.
3. Choosing to punt from the Packers 31 rather than attempt a field goal.
4. Not calling a time out on 4th & 4 at the end of the game to make sure your 3rd string QB has everything right for what is the most important play of the entire season.
5. Having Todd freaking Collins as the Bears #2 QB.
6. Having Todd Collins on the Bears roster.

There were a couple of other gaffes that escape me now, but this game summed up Lovie's deficiencies as a head coach. Poor game plan, poor preparation, poor play calling, poor clock & TO management, & poor decisions.
Terrible play from the QB & WR's didn't help either.

1 might have been the one that killed me but that was Martz.

I am all done with the Devin Hester experiment too.

Uhm... McCarthy didn't bowl me over with his coaching acumen, especially in the second half.

Yea, but in the battle of the dumb head football coaches, Lovie won in a blowout.

The fact that Todd Collins was still even on the team after the Carolina game makes me lose whatever faith I had begun to develop in Lovie.

Trusting in Lovie, I assumed he must have improved in some way, having gotten some reps in practice and getting the rust off. But, he was just as bad or worse now as he was then.

The punting decisions didn't help either. If they can't trust Robbie Gould to attempt a 49-yard field goal, then they need a new kicker.
