The opinion of THAT other "Big"Fan":
Okay so most of you have read my prediction that the Packers would beat the Bears next week by 10 points. In all of my praising of the Packers I did point out there was a way the Bears could win this game. I do think the Packers are the better team coming into this game and if both teams executed there own game plans the Green Bay Packers would win the game. However this is not a game where I think there is a clear cut winner to predict, like last week when we faced Seattle. Here is what needs to take place for the Bears to make travel plans for Dallas.

1. Tommie Harris and Israel Idonije need to show up big. Julius Peppers has been this teams best player all season long. Chad Clifton did make the Pro Bowl this season but if you have watched the Packers you would have seen that he actually has had a down season. Opposite Clifton is a rookie in Bryan Bulaga, the Packers are not going to let either face Peppers one on one and on most down Peppers will doubled. Aaron Rodgers is mobile and accurate out of the pocket but give him any sort of time when they spread the field and you have no chance to win this game.

2. The running game must be efficient. I know balance has been preached with this team since the bye week but we cannot afford to just run the ball to keep the defense honest. We need to pick up first downs and control the game clock with the running game. Our bread and butter is Jay Cutler's arm, no doubt, but if this game becomes an offensive shootout the advantage goes to the Packers. Force Aaron Rodgers to watch the game from the sideline as much as possible.

3. Cutler is going to have to tuck the ball and take a few sacks. No secret that Dom Capers is going to bring a ton of pressure. Our offensive line has not protected Jay once yet this season against a team that is good at getting to the quarterback. Out hot reads and blitz pickups have been an issue all season and if Cutler is not a 100% sure on a throw under pressure he needs to concede the series and trust his defense to get the ball back. I am not saying he need to "manage the game," I want to see him take his shots and run for yards when he sees them. He just needs to eliminate those forced throws he tends to make when seeing a ton of pressure. Tramon Williams, Charles Woodson, and Nick Collins will make you pay big if you give them a chance at the ball.

If those three things happen then the Bears win this game, hands down.
