Logged about 12 hours worth of multiplayer in to give it a fair shot. It's ok, nothing great. I don't mind the lack of sniping opportunities since I never used it in the first MW... but I do get the feeling that these maps are set up with team deathmatch in mind and not much else. I'll keep playing til I get bored with it or find a different game comes along, which will probably happen on Christmas.

Looks like I'll be getting this just in time for everyone else to be bored with it...

Just got it last night. The campaign is really fun so far. Haven't even tried multiplayer yet. Probably will tonight.

Looks like the haters were right.

I'm still playing it, but a little against my will (friends want to play it). I'll pick up the new map pack likely. I'm on my third prestige... I'm not sure I'll go farther than that. Dead Space 2 is coming next week... very excited about that one.

Just sold the game on Glyde. $40 ain't too bad for a used game.

I gave up as well, It's not that the maps are bad, there just isn't one I get excited to play. They are all pretty average compared to some of the gems in MW2...

A friend of mine traded in his MW2 to buy Black Ops for $30... he's already talking about buying back MW2. I still have MW2 but honestly have only played about 2 hours worth of MP games on it. Mostly played spec ops. For me, it's funny how the solo campaigns on these games are almost an afterthought for most gamers... and for me, I'm a little tired of the multiplayer part as well. I'm more interested in the 3rd option they usually throw in. Zombies is a dumb idea but I played that exclusively on WaW and never played the multiplayer. Played almost no multiplayer on MW2, just spec ops. I've played some multiplayer on Black Ops, some zombies, but I've been playing combat training mostly. It's almost comical playing it on veteran level... if you think you're good at multiplayer, try combat training on veteran level and prepare to get your ass kicked. Overall though, the game's a meh. I bought AC-brotherhood, should get it in a week.

This was really the main reason why I decided to sell the game. Even after defending the game on this board in terms of MP perks and whatnot, I was never really drawn back to the maps. Even with new maps coming out I still couldn't bring myself to keeping it.

I know how you feel... and I'm sure Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam expansion made the decision that much easier.

I sold that game over 6 months ago.

Post mortem on Black Ops for me. I still maintain it was an improvement over MW2, but like many have said, not a big one. I'm kinda done with this game. With all the other games out there, I think I'll look to find it a new home. Let me know if any of you want it.

Picked up the Anhilation map pack. It was pretty good. The golf course one definitely can be a snipers paradise. The Zombie map is the best one yet.

Just got the pack yesterday. The new maps are really good on this one.

Haven't played the new zombie map yet. Haven't even played the one from the last update. Think tonight will be zombie night...

I'm just not good at the zombie maps. But I enjoy mixing it up. I still think Gun Game is the single-best addition to this franchise. I absolutely love it. With each kill, you get a new gun. You end up with sniper rifles, which makes it kinda tough. "One in the Chamber" is also tons of fun where you start with one bullet and get a new bullet with every kill. If you miss, you need to melee to get another bullet. Makes you conserve ammo. Pretty fun.
