A bit chirpy today?
He said "If Clifton is on his game, Peppers won't get a sniff of Aaron Rodgers."
Didn't know the second coming of Anthony Munoz lined up at left tackle for the Packers.
Green Bay is a better team, but that statement seem quite bold.

I still love to listen to Wayne announce anything.
If Burger King still had the headsets for the cash register person over loud speaker, I'd stand there and listen.

Best in the business imo

I was looking around to see why he doesn't do play by play for the Bears or Bulls anymore. What's the reason? Money?

Yeah I think it was probably money as far as the Bulls were concerned....remember he always did the WGN or WCIU games, and then they decided to get rid of Tom Dore (wasn't a fan of his, way too much of a homer), and move Neil Funk to TV and brought in Chuck Swirsky.

Remember sometimes when Larrivee would call 3 games in about 24 hours? A Big Ten football or basketball game on Saturday afternoon, a Bulls game later that night, and then the Bears game on Sunday.

Lifetime Packer fan is what I heard. The opportunity came for him to do Packer games, and he took it.

Guys, the Bulls decided not to renew Wayne Larrivee & Tom Dore's contracts when they shifted Neil Funk to TV and brought in Chuck Swirsky to call the Bulls' games on radio. I'm not sure if money was involved, but the Bulls decided to go in a different direction when they made the changes to their broadcasts.

That being said, Chicagoans can still get their Wayne Larrivee fix. He does the "Badger Mutual Sports Minute" weekday afternoons on WBBM Newsradio 780, and he's done quite a few national games, NFL and NCAA Basketball, in recent years on Westwood One. With all due respect to Jeff Joniak, who has come a long way in his PBP work on WBBM, Larrivee is still the gold standard when it comes to Bears' play-by-play on radio, even if he's now with the enemy Packers.

Larrivee was a Packers fan as a kid and I've heard him say the GB gig is his Bill Self-ian "dream job."

Peppers hasn't had a sack on Rodgers yet, and only 2 in 9 playoff games. Time for Marinelli to motivate him to step it up to the next level. As a comparison, Richard Dent had 10.5 in 12 playoff games.

I wonder if Aaron got sniff of Pepper's helmet as it crashed against his skull in the second half.
