Peyton Manning
Tom Brady
Drew Brees
Aaron Rodgers
Ben Roethlisberger
Philip Rivers

I haven't even gotten to the "debatable" ones like Tony Romo, Michael Vick, Matt Schaub, and Eli Manning, and I've already listed 20 percent of the starting quarterbacks in the NFL.

This is going to be a long and painful offseason no matter how we slice it.

/me envisions 500+ calls to sports radio going something like...

Flynn is actually decent. Doesn't have a cannon, but should get traded to a team looking for starter.

Before Cutler gets dumped, I would like to see the Bears consistently adopt a game plan that takes advantage of his ability to throw on the run. When he throws after rolling out or scrambling, he is as good as anyone in the game. When passing from the pocket, he is much less successful.

Before Cutler gets dumped I'd like to see the idiot Bears have an offensive line and a couple of receivers who are not smurfs.

YES! I would not dump Cutler. Have him roll out more, get him a big WR who can do the "jumpball" thing, get him some quality veteran O-Line guys. All the same shit they should have done THIS year.

That's a nice shopping list--and one with which I concur--but who is available? And will the team be willing to spend again in free agency this offseason?

It is a really good year for big WR in FA:

Sidney Rice
Plaxico Burress
possibly Larry Fitzgerald
Braylon Edwards
Anquan Boldin i think
Vincent Jackson
Malcolm Floyd

Ill take all of them

But as far as O line, did the O line play well enough to justify giving it a go with Omiyale at LT and Webb at RT?

I dont think so, but the Bears might

Dont forget that the OL & WR's suck to high heaven.

You ignorant slut. Larry Fitzgerald can opt out of his contract, so it is possible he will be a FA. I cannot remember if Boldin signed long term after the trade to the Ravens.

I would have to think the Ravens signed Boldin for more than 1 year.

After doing some checking, Terrell Owens, Giants Steve Smith, Santino Holmes, and Randy Moss.

How about offensive lines that are better than ours? Receivers that are better than ours? Fullbacks that are better than ours (trick question)? Defensive tackles that are better than ours? Cornerbacks that are better than ours? etc etc etc.....

Boldin signed a 4 year deal in March of 2010.
