Alright, it's only Monday but what is everyone's plans for food/parties this Sunday?

I'm gonna get the deep fryer goin out in the garage around noon. Gonna do about 16 lbs of chicken wings. Half of them will be drenched in Sweet Baby Ray's the other half in Louisiana Hot Sauce.

Wife will inside cooking up the homemade fried zuccini and mozzarella sticks.

Sunday can't get here soon enough

If you are making the wings, gotta do better than bottled sauces. I enjoy my Louisanna, just not directly on the wings. Throw a little honey garlic at them.. This is really good!

1/2 cup liquid honey
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup water
3 tbsp ketchup
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp ground ginger

That being said I think I will be grilling Ribs Sunday and bringing them wrapped up over to the party that we are going to.

Of course the guy with the smallest seating arangement wants to have it at his house. Ugh.

Seeing as the game is at 3 EST for me, probably nothing. I will probably eat an uneventful lunch beforehand though.

I found a good recipe for meatball soup on epicurious. I'm going to make that.

The people at this St. Paul, Minnesota bar will be watching a bear's carcass roast. I bet they still find a way to eat it.

Braised oxtails with potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, onions and garlic. They taste like pot roast on steroids. Awfully good.

My meatball soup was outstanding--rich homemade chicken stock, escarole, carrots, pasta, meatballs (first browned in skillet and consisting of ground chuck, homemade bread crumbs, whole milk, lightly beaten egg, oregano, garlic, onion, salt, pepper), salt, pepper, herbs.

WINNER!

I tried for the 1st time,Dominos pizza. Also had chicken nuggets from Dominos. Set me back 21 bucks and thought it was pretty tasty for a national chain. I think their pizza is a little bit above Little Caesars. More tomato sauce is the key.

In retrospect I didn't eat a damn thing. I think I had 2 glasses of water. I was nervous as all hell watching and locked in.

Homemade chili with pot roast substituted for ground beef
tamales from the place with the orange sign on Clark Street
Wings from Buffalo Joes...still the best wing I've ever had
Nachos from Taco Burrito King- I was driving past so I figured what the hell, add it to the mix

That was a good spread
