Ok,what's going on here?
I can think of at least 5 games the Bears either lost their QB during the game or did NOT have the regular QB start the game:

1984- Fuller vs. The Redskins (BEARS WIN but McMahon DNP)
1984-Fuller vs. the 49'ers (BEARS Lose, McMahon DNP)
1988?-Flutie vs. the Redskins (McMahon DNP)
19XX?- Jim Miller hurt vs. the Eagles,Shane Matthews comes in
2010-Yesterday,Cutler hurt

There might be a few more I forgot.

So you mean if the starting QB is not healthy, your team doesn't have good shot at winning in the playoffs?

Let me explain it to you....Why do the Bears starting QB's disappear come playoff time. That is 5 games in recent Bears history that the starting QB was not available for 60 minutes. That is a lot.

Must be magic. Because there is not a single constant across all of those examples, unless you think the McCaskeys are poisoning QBs before the game.

Just to add

in the '88 season, Mcmahon was the #1, gets hurt. Tomczak plays relatively well (at least for him) starts first playoff game, get hurt, McMahon relieves.

In the NFC Championship, McMahon starts, Bears lose.

In '90, Harbaugh is the starter, gets hurt and misses playoffs, Tomczak starts playoffs, goes 1-1.

Steve Walsh started for Erik Kramer in the 1994 playoffs.

They upset the Vikings on the road, forgot that one.

Also,Bernstein just mentioned the Fog Bowl. Tomzak started instead of McMahon.
This is now 7 games in the last 26 years that the Bears starting QB was either a no-show or got injured during the playoff game. I think that is a curse!
