Nothing more meaningless than the NBA regular season.

Give it time.

The way the Heat have conducted themselves since LeBron James' idiotic "Decision", Dwyane Wade & Chris Bosh using the Bulls as leverage, not to mention ESPN shoving the Heat down America's throat, I was very, very pleased to see those bums lose on their home floor to a Celtics' team that is still pretty good. How quickly we forget that the C's are still Eastern Conference Champions, and that the Larry O'Brien Trophy is still situated at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles with the Lakers...

Good thing all these guys "Took Their Talents To South Beach":

What downbeat story deserves more attention?

Speculators and professional brokers make up 40 percent of sellers in the secondary ticket market in most NBA cities. In Miami, they represent 70 percent according to StubHub -- and right now they're getting beat up pretty badly. Local TV ratings for the Heat don't match the Cleveland market's numbers from the 2009-10 season. While the Heat captivate national fans who either love them or hate them, south Floridians seem more blasé.

Wait fans in a warm weather city like Miami where there is plenty to do outdoors in the winter and there is no long lasting team tradition don't hunker down for NBA Buckets? I am SHOCKED to hear this.

You can buy tickets for as low as $10 for Miami's next home game on 12/13. If Lebron & (Bosh or Wade) came to Chicago, every game would be sold out and 300 level tickets would be somewhere in the $100 range. $10 tickets for one of the most hyped teams of all time is a failure.

Saw the Big 3 scored 96 of the teams 107 points last night. Not sure they can win in the long run with 3 players doing all the scoring.

but if youre playing against 3 guys that can drop 30-40 points EACH on you on any night, you will lose most of those games.

more teams need to start beating the shit out of these guys. i know youre not going to rattle wade, but i still think lebron is a giant menstruating woman and bosh is the feminine girlfriend. too bad noah is going to miss the next couple heat games... i guess well see how joakim feels about them in the playoffs.

Wait till the playoffs. Boston already has shown they dont need to worry about the heat. People often forget the postseason is a different beast altogether. The game slows down dramatically and your biggest flaws are exposed. And the Heat have alot of them.

All of the big 3 are hurting right now. If Wade, Lebron, and Bosh are all out against Atlanta, how much do the Hawks win by? Wade is probable, Lebron is a game-time decision, Bosh is doubtful. If Bosh is out for an extended period of time, it could be the biggest blow for them. That leaves them with no one to score inside.

Quote:
Dwyane Wade among hobbled Heat

MIAMI -- Heat owner Micky Arison attended his team's practice Monday only to find his three $100 million players on the sidelines with him.

Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh all sat out practice with various injuries, further sobering a team on a three-game losing streak.

Bosh and James were both nursing sprained left ankles suffered during the Heat's just-ended five-game road trip. Wade was out with a sore knee resulting from a collision in Saturday night's loss in Chicago.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Wade was probable for Tuesday's home game against the Atlanta Hawks, that James was going to be a game-time decision and that Bosh was doubtful. Neither Bosh nor James even tied his left shoe while taking it easy Monday.

The Heat may look to be cautious with just two games over an 11-day span.

"I'm getting better, I'm doing a lot of treatment and staying in the training room," James said. "If it was the playoffs I could've definitely went out there and played [Saturday]. We've got to do what is best for us and the team ultimately. If I feel good and the training staff feels I'm ready to go then I'm going to go."

Bosh had an MRI on the ankle that confirmed a mild sprain after Bulls center Omer Asik fell on him Saturday, causing him to miss the fourth quarter. After the game Bosh expressed frustration that Asik injured him while diving at his legs chasing a loose ball.

"You've got to watch people's legs," Bosh said Saturday. "I know guys want to hustle and everything but we all want to play and provide for our families and have a job."

Before the Bulls played Monday in Memphis, coach Tom Thibodeau defended Asik's play.

"I saw it as a great hustle play," Thibodeau said. "Omer is not that type of guy. He's not going to ever try to take somebody out. He plays hard. He plays clean."

Wade banged his left knee, which was already sore from a run-in with Jason Kidd three weeks ago, and jammed both wrists after drawing a shooting foul in the first half against the Bulls.

While he was on the floor there were some cheers at the United Center, something that Wade said surprised him in his hometown. Wade got a healthy dose of boos during the game after turning the Bulls down in free agency last summer.

"I was in the fetal position, I hit three parts of my body on that one," Wade said. "For the first time when I went down I heard cheers, I never really heard that before."

Seriously? What a whiney ass cry baby. He should give you the rebound because he should worry about running into your legs?
And the "provide for our families" thing... really dude?

Wade must continuously be thinking " I am all about this opportunity to winsome rings, but these should never speak...ever".

D-Wade has a little Scottie Pippen in him

Quote:
Dwyane Wade fights migraine symptoms

MIAMI -- Heat guard Dwyane Wade continues to battle migraine headaches after sitting out Saturday night's game against Toronto.

"Most of the time it lasts for four days," Wade said. "This time, the effects are going into the third day. I'm doing everything with the doctors, but there are certain things you can't control."

Wade remains sensitive to light, but participated in Monday's practice wearing tinted glasses.

"My headache is gone, but my vision hasn't fully recovered," Wade said. "I'm not looking up much and I'm squinting still."

Wade's fashion statement produced some good-natured ribbing among the Heat's staff and his teammates.

"Dwyane is doing his best Danny Schayes impersonation," Spoelstra said, referring to the retired 18-year veteran known for his on-court eyewear. "But he's here and he went through the practice."

Wade has stated he prefers not to play in glasses or goggles, though he acknowledged the migraines might force him to if his condition doesn't improve before Thursday night's game at New York.

Wade didn't care for the red-framed pair of glasses the Heat had lying around the facility on Monday, a sentiment echoed somewhat by teammate Chris Bosh.

"He has to take his precautions with his situation," Bosh said. "If his accessories are lacking, then he has to take the punishment. The red tint is a nice flavor, though."

Watching the Heat collapse last night was joyous. Chris Bosh slamming the ball on the court after him and Lebron bricked the 3's was glorious.

Yeah, that was terrible. I like Webber in the studio with all the guys, but he is not very good doing in-game color commentary.

I think they've used Cheryl Miller before as the color commentator. Whoever she is with, it's always an odd pairing.

I keep saying if Miami figures out Wade should have the ball at the end of games they will be dangerous. For some strange reason LeQueen continues to get the ball and continues to fail as he has always done.

Exactly. Lebron went to Miami so he didn't have to be "The Man". They are fooling themselves into think it can work with him. Lebron gets you to the last 5 minutes but it needs to be Wade's team after.

Completely agree. I don't think LeQueen or Bosh are built for those situations. Wade has shown that he can be effective and has won a title doing it. While LeQueen is the better player he has to be able to set his ego aside if he wants to win. He looked like he was going to cry last night.
