He has been mailing this thing in since his 1 year anniversary of his show, because he knew at that point he was not going to do what he said he could.

Whatever money he gets offered to stay, will still be good money, it won't be what it is and I am sure they will not make the same mistake to let him do whatever he wants and hire whoever he wants, because he knows what a crappy job he did.

So being that everyone knows the money will be a reduction and his power will be gone, does North come back?

I am telling you NO WAY. His Ego is way to big to take those 2 hits.

Unless, Mitch begs him, then North comes on the air to tell us how he was going to WLS, but Mitch Begged him and he stayed because of Mitch.

I agree. I posted a while back that I didn't think he'd make the end of his contract.

He is mailing it in. He sees the end coming. He's telegraphed it with dozens of stray comments.

He had enough clout to save Annie short-term, but I'm sure with the promise that she and he would do some kind of graceful exit.

I don't know when on the calander the radio business makes big moves, maybe Labor Day as that's when North came in, but Sox opening will be important to the Score.

So maybe then. They move people around. B&B go early again so they always have full shows.

North will say he wants to spend more time with Bebe, who's been lonely since Licorice died. Or that he wants to spend more time with Jen. Or that he and Bebe want to spend more time with Jen. Or that he, Bebe, and Jen are all moving to Tahoe to spend more time together and console each other over the loss of Licorice.

I suppose he might survive an early termination. No way he's on the Score after Labor Day. Mornings or anywhere else.

Wouldn't you swallow your pride and except 200k rather then have pride and have no other way to make that type of money. Maybe it is no. Spend more time with Bebe? He's off at 10am every day. He looks at the wife more then any married guy. That won't be the excuse.

No doubt he will get an offer from somewhere and I can promise that station manager will be fired for hiring him. I do agree about his ego being too big to take the pay cut and demotion, which will be the main reason he will not sign a new WSCR deal.

If what he has said a couple of times is true, he still has 1 1/2 years left on his current deal.

I don't think he is Mailing it in, but I think he is out of ideas and rarely likes anyone elses ideas, so nothing changes.

Which is the problem with the show, IT IS AS STALE AS THE BAGELS SITTING IN MY FRIDGE FROM 2006!

Just so Ironic that the same problems with his show, one guy paid too much to a bad contract, one guy signing bad people, poor execution, lack of originality, obvious to everyone except them are the same things he does every morning about people in Chicago sports.
