Couldn't find any old threads about this....

I finally saw this movie last night, and was not really impressed. It was a 3-hour battle of Endor.

Now that I think about it, this movie could've used more midgets in bear costumes with spears, and less annoying blue people.

You needed to see it in a theater to really get any enjoyment out of it I think. Saw it again recently and was bored to death.

Agree with this 100%. I came away from the theater just absolutely blown away. And I barely stayed awake when we watching it On-Demand.

Visually speaking, the movie was incredible.

But the story = :hockey:

Same here. Coming out the theater my mind was blown with how well the 3-D was done. I hadn't had a movie experience like that since I was a kid.
Then seeing it on TV I realized that the 3-D was just a distraction to keep us from seeing how weak the movie really was :(

That's why I never bothered to see this in the theatre. I decided I would see it on bluray and if the movie was great I would go catch a re-release on IMAX to soak in the 3D, but if the story didn't hold up I wasn't gonna waste my time going to the theatre to see what essentially is just a tech demo.

Still haven't seen this yet. Think it's next on the Netflix list. I may change that. It really doesn't interest me...

If you loved the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi, you will love this movie.

Otherwise, you will be better off watching a hockey game.

too bad it's not as easy to find as NBA gifs.

Finding NBA gifs is easy. Finding old threads is impossible. Even if the search function worked, searching for Avatar would return a bunch of other results besides this movie.

This movie still sucked.
