For a guy that prides himself on NOT kissing anybody's ass, Sean Salisbury had best get a vat of chapstick ready.

His lips will be sorer than Elton John's swollen rectum after this week.

ALL this guy has done this week is kiss people's asses and pat them on the back. I'm glad there's not a webcast of their show. Sean would probably pull his hand up from under the table after and reach for the box of Kleenex after every handjob interview.

I hope Dan Patrick has all the same interviews as Mike and Mike and S & R. I enjoy hearing the same people only hours apart. They really bring so much perspective to the game.

I need to seek therapy. I don't know why I subject myself to this show. Between the bad interviews that I already heard on Mike and Mike, having to listen to Salisbury and the listeners singing these rediculous songs....it's mind numbing.

He could then be like North and ask Faulk if he was disappointed with his career.

We need a 12-step program. This show is not unlike crack, where you know it's killing your brain, but you continue to consume it anyways.

I hope he asks him what he thinks Bill Cowher will be like taking piano lessons, and putting into football terms, what it would be like to be a teammate of Barry Bonds.

I'll call it now.

Dan Patrick will dedicate AT LEAST one hour of today's show to:

Kobe's suspension and MLB's failure to accept the terms of Barry Bond's contract.

Mike and Mike work way too much arena league football into their show. And Dan Patrick is way too NBAish..

Perfect. If there's any down-time, maybe he'll squeeze in a segment about how he doesn't like to talk about TO.

Oh no: there's legitimate Barry Bonds news? Lord have mercy.

He said, as best I can remember, "when you came out of college alot of people said you would be great, but when you talk about the greatest, you're in the team photo, but people talk about Sayers, guys like that, and not you. Do you feel like you could have done more, that your career wasn't as successful as it should have been?"

Plus, he kept talking about how he was hurt all the time.

Ever since last year when he was asked to host the Mouse's weekend NBA coverage he's been like that. Its almost like he is contractually obligated to bring the NBA up between steroids and racism conversations.

But at least it isn't talking about Bill Cowher's jaw while playing piano

Not just Faulk, but the entire Mike and Mike lineup from this morning, like Emmitt Smith and Matt Hasselbeck.

I can't wait to hear about Dancing with the Stars and Matt Hasselbeck talking about eating healthy.

You've got to be kidding Scholar. That is just laziness on the part of his producer. Go out there and get some other interviews, geeze. I mean, there are only like 500 other NFL personalities walking around there. Phil the showkiller or his PA really dropped the ball here.

Well, I just want to figure out how he has "the best lineup in radio" this week - maybe its because he has the addition of Phil the Showkiller

Someone tell them that great players do not make great interviews.

My favorite part is the fact that Faulk is not willing to say which team he thinks will win.

I heard Faulk on with Cris Carter on NFL Radio this morning and I thought it was good.

DP is ass. That Faulk interview was just painful. I think Faulk's going to kick his ass.

good call woodridge! of course dan patrick is about as unpredictable as ned flanders.

though i must say i love it when theguests challenge dan patrick's authority on anything he believes is true, such as asking how many games jason taylor won for the miami dolphins, and then asking how many games the dolphins actually won (which dan erroneously said "8" when they only won 6). it seemed like marshall actually got dan a little off his game, and nearly threw him off the high horse.

of course, neither one was right about defensive player of the year, it was urlacher. you want to talk about guys who single handidly won games.

Actually, Dan's interview with Emmitt IS different! DP can't even get Emmitt to be interviewed live - instead, he called in.

Not to mention the over the top love for Michael Irvin (aka fellow ESPN employee) to make it to the Hall of Fame.

....yawn....

When are Dickie V., Reggie Miller or Mark Jackson gonna break down the Super Bowl?
