Dumb on so many levels.

That's another reason why I hated listening to Mully and Hanley. They'd throw out the big softball question of the day where it'll be so painfully obvious what the overwhelming response would be.

Like last August when the Sox were going after Manny Ramirez. Mully went to every break asking, "Should the Sox get Manny Ramirez?" First of all, motherfucker, you know 90% of the callers are gonna say "Ay we donts wants dis guy cuz he's a cancer and he donts respec the game!" And surely enough, those were the calls they got. That's like starting your show with the question of, "Should Lovie Smith and Jerry Angelo be fired?" You already know what you're gonna get.

Shows like these have the concept backwards. That's why I love B&B, because they'll take a stance on at topic at the start of the show and then invite callers. I think it's bad radio to invite callers to opine if you as the host haven't even taken a definitive stance on an issue. That "on the fence" shit may be safe radio, but it's not entertaining. When listening to tame shows like these, every caller seems to have a "good point" regardless of how whacked out their premise may be. I don't think every caller deserves an "A" for effort. Fuck them. And as a host, try to CHALLENGE the listener, bitches. That's all I ask.
