If Rex and Peyton had a 4o yard dash race. Who wins?

Peyton's actually not as slow as everyone makes him out to be.

Peyton doesn't have any foreign objects in his legs.. unlike Rex.. who..dang now I need to change my answer.. has one bionic leg, which could give him the edge! =)

Great! Thanks Sam. Now I will spend this rest of my night humming that dreadful "Bionic Man" theme song and trying to get the disturbing picture of Lee Majors in nutters running down a cinder high school track in slo-mo out of my head :(

Think i'll just toss on the "Boston" by Boston 8 track to clear my head.

Manning would win because Rex would be back-peddling.

doesnt matter who would win, but we can bet that if they were on second base, joey cora would send each of them home on a single.

Nas, I pretty much didn't even bother to address a comment like that. Didn't see it as worthy of my time. Are you kidding? You're going to sit there and say Tee Martin did more than Manning? I'd say Tee Martin's team did more than Manning's team, but I'm not going to say Tee Martin is the sole reason Tennessee won a national championship.

No. Unless your logic is simply based on the Superbowl. If you consider Dan Marino, Dick Butkus, and Bruce Smith losers, than yes I guess Peyton Manning is a loser. If that's your logic. I don't consider any of those people losers.

Goober is not a loser Nas. You of all people shouldn't be going this route Nas. When you consider how much you've stood by Rex and had to defend him from morons. I've agreed with you on this but now your being stupid in Regards to Goober. Maybe your having fun. Goober is far more acomplished then Rex. There are other factors in winning a championship and you know it.

Even when Goober loses on Sunday he still will not be a loser.

He will not be a loser as there is no shame in losing to DA BEARS.

He will still be just as revered as esteemed Illini QB Tony Eason who will have accomplished the same as Peyton Manning - losing to the beloved in a roman numeral game.

I'm joking Bear. Just having a little fun with WR. Peyton is a GREAT quarterback and might be the best ever when it is all said and done. I thought that was obvious but I guess I need to keep using

It is not obvious to me that you are joking because you are making some valid points. When the most talented QB in the game plays on the most talented team (for the last few years) and cannot get the job done, it indicates to me that he is a choke artist. The same goes for his college career. Despite having all the skills and playing at an elite program, he could not get within a whiff of the national championship, or even beat Florida for that matter. As soon as he departs, a guy named Tee Martin steps in (with basically the same team), beats Florida and wins the national championship. Last I heard, Tee Martin was crapping out of the CFL. Not exactly a super-talented guy, but he is a winner (unlike Manning) and has two things that Manning does not: a championship and a set of balls.

I would argue strongly against the Colts being the most talented team in the NFL over the past years. Have you happened to pay attention to this defense over the last, oh...the entire time Manning has been there? Give me a break.

That defense is the only reason that the Colts survived the AFC playoffs. It was certainly not because of Manning. As usual, when the heat was on, Goober spit the bit. But, he seems like a nice guy and makes funny commercials, so, who cares?

Coming out of college Rex had the faster 40 time barely. I think he probably losees today after the injury, but maybe not.

Rex in '03 ran it in 4.87

Peyton in '98 ran it in 4.9

Look Peyton would beat him. This doesn't matter much however. But what little speed Rex had was diminished after the knee and ankle injuries. I remember Rex as a rookie and in his 2nd year as having a little more quickness and speed. Now he doesn't even want to run. He's a little gun shy still.

I don't think any of us are taking this thread seriously Beardown. Like I said, the correct answer isn't even an option. Da Coach!
