Anyone else watching this?

A few things. Why did they really need a 20 minute tribute to Aretha Franklin who is still alive? And if your going to have a tribute to the queen of soul you should probably leave 3 of the white grils at home.

There is going to be a Clay Mattews III sighting so that is the only reason I am watching some of this.

The grammys were alot cooler when Jethro Tull was winning metal album of the year awards. None of these people got shit on ian anderson.

Who is the girl on right now that is always dressed like a fucking bus boy? I think I hated her playing some other show like the ESPY's last year.

No that was my lame attempt at a joke. You can see skin but nothing serious. Jennifer Lopez showed alot more a few years ago with her green dress.

Miranda Lambert is getting dangerously close to a wardrobe malfunction.

Cee Lo really made Lady Gaga seem normal with that outfit.

No, there's a TNA PPV on... I mean comeon they split up Team 3D and now seem to have to killed a kid after giving him a spit-shower.

I think this says a whole lot more about the Grammys than it does the legendary outfit known as TNA.

Tonight's Holmes Inspection kicked the grammys ass.

I don't know what this Arcade Fire is, but the noise is similar to what's in my head when I'm stuck in traffic.

I'm going to refer to Arcade Fire as "Steaming Pile of Noise" from now on.

Replace "Noise" with "Garbage." The former makes them sound far edgier than they actually are.

My point is they're so bad, it's accumulating awful noise which is impossible.

They are terrible.

Thoughts on the evening...

Cee-Lo is a weird guy, but his performance was memorable and really entertaining. Well fuck you

Really liked Muse's performance

Eminem/Dre=awesome. Could listen to that for hours.

Really like the Mumford and Sons with Bob Dylan. Hopefully someone took Dylan in the death pool though.

Arcade Fire's first song sucked and their second one was worse.

Maybe it says more about the limits of my musical knowledge than it does the awards, but until tonight I had no idea who the "Best New Artist" or "Album of the Year" winners were.

I dunno, I just see their songs as bland and boring rather than noisy. At least Kanye's happy for them!
