larry claims he would rather be in chicago than miami for the superbowl. he is crying that he is missing out on sitting in his condo and watching the game with his dad. he has to watch the game from a crowded press box. boo fucking hoo. how they gave this idiot the bears beat is beyond me.

If it is a sacrifice to him to have to watch the game from the press box instead of with his friends and family, then I have no bones with him saying it. I think he knows that he is in an envious position and he was probably just trying to express that it is more enjoyable to watch the game at home on tv than with a bunch of crotchety old sports writers. I know I would rather be watching the game with my friends and family (and copious amounts of beer and chili).

What a weirdo and a stroke. Tickets are going for 2-3 grand on Stub Hub. Shut the f#ck up Holmes.

Another thing regarding his reports this week. He's been churping that he got to talk to the Bears strenghth coach Rusty Jones. And her reported in a slow voice that the player would need to be hydrated during the game. That it was very important. He thought he brought something unique to the table.

Thanks Larry. Thank you for telling me that the Bears will need to drink water through out the Super Bowl. Man, you are just an ace reporter. I'm glad you got that from Rusty Jones. What an idiot Larry is.

Bigfan should figure out a way for the Laurence Holmes leitmotif to play in every thread where he's the focus.

I'm trying to think of which Laurence Holmes moment was nerdier. Either one time (maybe of many) when he said "I'm a brother!" and sounded like Urkel, or that "Team Score" promo he did with Zaidman.
